    Agreed, and I still use DS 3 Advanced, and only installed DS 4.0 Pro to use Genesis 1. Haven't gone anywhere near Genesis 2 or DS 4.5+ and don't plan to any time soon.

    PS Elements 12 should also be able to open them. Right now Adobe has it on sale for 69$.

    Photoshop Elements from version 4 or 5 will load .abr brushes. Corel Paintshop Pro X5 (PSPX5) will also load them. Versions before PSPX5 require them to be converted.

    I prefer PSP so was really happy when they started supporting .abr brushes

    ...same here which is why I am waiting for the next sale . They'll probably do one for the coming holidays.


    I find working with layers in PSP is a lot more intuitive. X6 also has 64 bit support.
