Editing a DSA file

How do I change rotational direction for individual bones in a dsa file. I have a figure with a long tail and not all the bones move the same direction when moving the dial left or right.

A .dsa fiel is a plain text script file, older presets for posing etc. are in that format but not character loading files. Perhaps you could give some more details.
I'm trying to make the 1st Herschel Hoffmeyer T Rex use the multi pose , I have been editing the DSA file in the data folder. Multi pose now works but all the bones in the chain do not go in the same direction when I move the dial left or right. There must be a setting in the DSA that can be edited to make all the rotation the same on all dials in a chain.
I assume you mean the .dsf file? What do you mean by multi-pose - selecting multiple bones and then setting the slider in the Parameters pane for all at once? I'm surprised the boens in a tail don't all match, but it would be the rotation order and alignment that woudl govern that - which you can edit in DS, using the Joint Editor tool, rather than trying to hack the files.
Changing the rotation order has not helped so I guess I will just keep hunting.
