Does anyone know if there is a Puss n Boots for Daz Housecat?

I would like to make one if possible and not the one from Shrek. If you know of clothes etc, that could be used please let me know. I have an idea for a character.

There used to be. Appears to have been removed from the store. ReadMe: Millennium Cat/Toonimal Cat Puss n Boots

Edit: Not specifically for the House Cat, but seeing as the Millennium Cat poses can be used, it wouldn't have been much different, aside from the scaling.

    a) Buy the assortend Pirate Gear from M4/V4 era that's PC+ items ($1.99 each),

    b) pose the updated MilCat like a person for the poses you need & save the poses as presets

    c) resize, translate, rotate the clothing to mostly look like it is fitting the cat in a T-Pose

    d) Use the dFormer Tool to reshape portions of the clothing to fit the cat better (patience & loose clothing looks & works best). (you can add multiple deformers to an article of clothing and scale them to a size that only affect a particular area of the clothing).

    e) Export the dForce altered clothing as wavefront obj  files (hide everything in scene except the particular article of clothing you are working on).

    f) Unhide the hidden cat, import the obj of clothing you just exported. (now you can make more sizing adjustments again if need be & export the results as an obj again & import as an obj again as your goal is to a loose but not oversized fit to make the clothing look like typical clothing on a person but not skin tight clothing on a cat (which will look weird))

    g) Use Transfer Tool Source: the cat Target the obj just imported (transfer rigging, don't transfer surfaces, default for both, check the boxes for adjust tolerance for fit, check the both for create smoothing and autofollow at the bottom)

    h) save aa...  the new clothing you just fit to the cat as a morph/prop asset

    i) Repeat for each article of Puss-n-Boots clothing you want.

I just did this for Toon Generations for G8M wardrobe onto Toon Mouse and while the fit and autofollow isn't alway great it does actually work and looks pretty good. You can adjust the clothing when it doesn't quite autoffollow correctly when posing by posing the clothing to eliminate pokethrough & such. The clothing will have the same weightmaps & rig as the cat if you did the Transfer Tool correctly.

Search on youTube for how to use the Transfer Tool & dFormers. Not difficult but can be tedious.

Thank you! I really want to do a tuxedo on a cat or dog. Make it look like people as animals kinda deal.

That's funny. You can do the famous dogs at a table playing poker scene.

You may need to 'unlock' limits on the joints for posing on the cat or dog to get into a T-pose like human characters. If the clothing is for Genesis 8 & is in an A-pose I recommend putting the clothing in a T-pose and not the cat or dog in a A-pose because using the dFormer is easier in a T-pose than an A-pose.

You may want to get a final nice draped fit for the cat or dog clothing use a dForce clothing simulation to drape the clothing on the cat or dog (and then do the whole export clothing as obj, import clothing as obj, and Transfer Tool to transfer rigging & weightmaps to the obj, save as prop/morph asset). You may like it better or you may not but just keep in mind if you want to try dForce for a better clothing drape.

There are several tuxedos to choose from. Just remember when the autofollow for the clothing leaves the clothing sort of crumpled (sometimes) for some poses that you can slightly change pose of the clothing itself independent of the cat or dog's pose.
