Screen capturing viewport

I read on some threads where people would creen capture the view port' for rendering iray. Is this something that Daz offers or another application? Also could this be done with viewport set to render iray?

AFAIK it means they used their computer to make a screen capture [print screen] although there are some programs that will also make screen captures.

  • How would they do it just for the view port?

  • File>Save Last Draw will capture the Viewport.

You can also use the Snip & Sketch tool (formerly Snippit) that comes with Windows 10 if you want to quickly get all or an area of your screen to the clipboard.   Keep it on your Taskbar, click it, Ctrl+N to select an area with your cursor and done.

That's what I use if I want to do a spot render and keep it for reference temporarily while making changes.

Ah, I always wondered what that does!

<clickety-clickety> Hmm, useful. Thanks for the pointer.
