Step one: Load your figure.
Step two Load the Eyebrow item
Step three: Select the EYEBrow item
Step four: Load the texture you will use on the Figure. It loads as BLANK on the brow.
Step Five: Select the figure
Step six: Apply the same texture to the figure
Step seven: Select the EyeBrow item
Step eight: Apply the EyeBrow Material.
If so, what if I notice that I used Surface Colors to add skin color, instead of a skin material? Would I need to alter that by making sure that character had a 'skin material'?
What material/texture set are you using on Genesis? Whatever it is, apply the same preset to the eyebrow - just select it and double-click the file you double-clicked with Genesis selected.
....material texture set....?....I used an old scene file to start to construct this character. Should I star from scratch? If I do...what exactly is the Material/texture? Have a screenshot of it?
NOTES: When it says APPLY the texture that means JUST double Click the Texture icon.
I personally do not like this item as it does not work well and you need to fiddle with the Figure texture to much to get a GOOD render when it is used.
Thank you! Very good instructions! I had a little trouble figuring out skin texture, but made it work in content library. Ran into a few difficulties hear and there, related, I think, to particular materials that did not render or merge quite the same. I'm experimenting. Thanks again for time and effort! Fantastic instructions!
This set is for Genesis, it won't work on Genesis 3. Applied to Genesis, select the brows and apply the materials preset for the character you are using.
I have this product, but really don't use it because I do a lot of dial spinning to change the Genesis face. This caused the brow to distort, creating weird protrusions on the forehead.

That is the Brow area, you now need to select it and in surfaces apply the FACE texture or the Brow texture you wish to use on it.

That is then this... Ready to adjust and render.
Best I could do so far.
"Skin material' mixes me up. If I apply 'eyebrow material'?- that doesn't work. I think it wants 'skin material' first. How do I find it?
How do I carry out next step after picture?
You apply the same material file to the brow as you apply to Genesis.
the skin choice?

Then try again?
It's definitely at this point that I cannot make anymore headway.
if I apply Genesis Simple Skin to selected area before eyebrow material, I get this:
has to be some way to do better than this:

What 'skin material''?

I am completely stuck. When I first apply it, the Brows aren't recognized with the Genesis 3 model, so I apply to Genesis, then to hair?
But I still can't get rid of "first apply skin to material..." nothing I do removes it. This has been quite frustrating.
