Why does Frankie Outfit (Genesis) have so many UV maps?

I'm looking at the Frankie (Von Stein) outfit for Genesis, and there are a lot of different UV maps for the corset. I'm guessing that they're to compensate for the way that fitting a garment to different morphs can distort the textures. Does anyone know if that's true?

    You can see what the texture maps are here.  You click on the readme and from there the File List.  That tells you all you need to know.

    Yes, it's to accommodate the different body shapes (V5, Girl 4, etc.) and prevent texture stretching around the breasts, waist, and hips. It's the reason why I like this corset so much.
