Didn't see a thread for this. Wondering if anyone has it and has used it. Does it really require DS4.11+, or can I use it with my DS4.10.0.123. It says it requires 4.11, but so does mostly everything in the store nowadays.

I was wondering this myself. I have the G3 version of this and it's great. And this one looks fantastic, but if I can't use it in 4.10 I'm not sure about buying it.
Yes, it works in 4.10. :-)
Edit: I did not search for a readme, although I don't think one is really necessary, but the Stranded Whiskers are found in the Content Directory under Genesis 8 Male->Anatomy->Stranded Whiskers. I don't use Smart Content, but just thought I'd let people know in case they go looking for it inside the G8M Hair folder.
The name is confusing though. It suggests strand-based hair.
I don't own it, but the file list doesn't show movement morphs. It's a very nice-looking and versatile set. You can always #YOLO it and try adding dForce to see.
Looks like only styling and length. I'm not seeing any movement morphs. Unless I'm missing something I do not see this set having the 'very long' styles like the G3 Whiskers set has. The styles seem to be more 'tamed' for lack of a better word however you can combine the styles and lengths. But in my playing around with the dials there seemed to be a stricter limit which is no problem for me and actually length limits that I prefer. I have several beard options now for G3 and G8 including Luthbel's beard products. And I just forgot what else I was going to type. I really hate getting old.
I went ahead and bought it. It works great in 4.10. No movement morphs, but that fine by me.
I have this one too: https://www.daz3d.com/whiskers-for-genesis-3-male-s and it's got tons of options. Admittedly, some are better than others. In close ups, some of them looked glued on like they do for tv and movie characters. This one looks super realistic. Glad it works in 4.10, and thanks for the renders and advice. But like some others, I wish it had some movement morhs at least on the longer beards.
Hi guys :) - sorry no movement morphs.
Fibermesh files get really big, the more morphs the more things get weighed down and I wanted to provide a more versatile product.
I can do movement morphs but what I would need to do is design lets say specific long beard, something like a Wizards Beard.
Also sorry if the name Stranded was confusing. All of my previous works only allowed for a single UV map across every fiber, the only way in the past I could create the salt and pepper look was to create add-on fibers as a separate figure. This time I managed to get various strands (hence the name) into the same figure, BUT that also came at a price, the whole process of morph creation changed too.
If you like the idea of a single look beard but with more movement morphs and some limited style options, this can be done and I'm certainly open to any feedback or criticism. This will help me make better products in the future.
User tip for Stranded Whiskers: pending on your lighting source, play around with the Glossy Roughness settings and Translucency function, it can help create a softer look.
Cheers Laticis
I did want to mention, the multiple strand zones is a great idea, definitely a draw for this product. I did get it, just haven't had a chance to use it yet, but know I'll be happy based on the promos.
Thank you - I will experiment with some dForce settings for the next one :)
