daz3d to mixamo = white eyes

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to fix this issue where a fully textured daz model (genesis 8) is exported as an fbx and then loaded into mixamo with white eyes?

That is really the only thing wrong with the model, everything else is working 100%. I turned everything into props and exported as fbx 2012 for that to work.

Thanks!

It is usually the opacity channels that Studio shaders use that other programs don't understand.  You need to learn how opacity is handled in the program you are importing in to and adjust the material settings accordingly.

DAZ models have eye moisture surrounding the eyeballs. That's what you're seeing.

As jestmart said, you need to learn how the shaders work for your particular tool.

It happens in Marvelous Designer  too. I don't worry about it but in MD you need to select all parts of the eye and adjust the opacity down.

It doesn't actually matter for Mixamo's purposes, since you can take the animation and adjust the surfaces in Daz or whatever you're using to render. Mind sharing what export settings you're using to get a G8 figure into Mixamo?
