I cannot acess more then 6 dots on the face power pose control.

Those available dots only moves the eyes & tiles the head. Help...
Installing or reinstalling or redownloading the installer file with the DM isn't helping at all.

My Configurations:

Daz Studio 4.10 Pro - Genesis 8 Basic Female - Head Selected.

Freshly Clean Installed Windows 7 SP1 64 bits with all service packs & hotfix updated.

i7 Quad core processor, 64 bits, 16 GB Ram, 1TB hadrdrive, NVIDIA 710 Graphic Card, LG 29'' Flat screen monitor.

Have you downloaded and installed the file called Genesis 8 Female PowerPose Templates? That is the install file that gives you the full set of head dots.

ETA: There's a similar file for the G8 Male which you need to install if you want to pose the G8M figure too.

Yes Melaniel, I have done that multiple times. I have even removed and redownloaded both of them thrice. But sadly it was always the same. :(

  • Yes Melaniet, I have done that multiple times.

I have even removed the previous one and redownloaded them both twice, but sadly it still does not seems to be working.

If you right-click on the powerpose templates entry in DIM and click on "Show Installed Files" - where is it putting them? Click on one of the files that are then listed and it should open the location where they are. Is this in a sub-folder of the same location where your G8F figure is installed?

(Edited to correct an error in what I posted)

I have got a saparate folder for Assets & contents where i use to put all Daz contents. Power Pose too is installed on that folder.

    "D:/Softwares/3DModelings/Assets/DAZContent"

Please note that Daz Studio too is installed in my D Drive.

Then I'm sorry but I'm mystified. I also have DAZ Studio program installed in a non-standard place (on my E: drive), with my content also installed to a non-standard folder on that E: drive.
    My G8F (data file) is therefore in "E:/DAZ Data/DAZ Studio 4 Master Content/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/Female"
    and the powerpose templates are in "E:/DAZ Data/DAZ Studio 4 Master Content/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/Female/Tools/PowerPose"

When I go to the PowerPose pane with G8F selected, I have Template Set showing "Base (Genesis 8 Female)" - yours seems to be set to "Default (Generic)" - I have no idea why.

Can someone else please help here: maybe Richard Haseltine ?

Strange Melaniet, i have tried various ways in the last few days but was unable to find out any solution regarding this. But when i right clicked on the "Show Installed Files" as per your recomondation, the problem was solved.

I am still unable to think it up why. Maybe, a small bug might be there that kept the software from initialising the powerpose templates and it requires something like VB's "Doevent" command inbetween..... (Not advicing, just guess work, i donno..... )

When i clicked on that menu, my problem seems solved automatically with some sort of initialisation.

Anyway, Now i am very happy with those PP Points, and i cannot thank you enough for your time & efforts in helping me sort it out. Thanks a lot.
