OK, need help with a Dual JCM setup

So trying to follow along with SickleYields info she has on Deviant Art but I keep getting crashes from DAZ Studio when saving using the ERC save.
So according to the tutorial I am to select the morph JCM I created for the shorts I made but then go up to Genesis 8 Males thigh R and then L and drag the Left thigh side to side to Controller 1 and drag the Right thigh to Controller 2.... under these new entries for my shorts there is a drop down (+) and there are way to many entries there for Genesis 8 Male that are not needed for my shorts, most of which are 3DU's so I removed them, saved the scene file again hoping that was the ticket to not getting a crash. NOPE, CRASH happens so now I'm feeling stuck.
What the morph does is correct the JCM I have for when both JCM's I made for the thighs for either leg are activated and cause their own distortion. So if I have my character in a full side to side split this happens. See images below.
So if I'm doing the work properly I wouldn't think there would be a crash but perhaps it's a bug in 4.11??
If not perhaps I need to go about this a different way. If so what should I do?

So how is the ERC hooked up?
You mean this?
Look at the JCM in the property hierarchy
Here is where I dragged the Left thigh and Right thigh side bends to the fix
The fix morph you currently try to create ERC links for seems like a workaround and not the solution.
In the first screenshot it looks like the distortion is caused by only one vertex that dosn't follow the right thigh bend. How did you load the both left right JCM morphs, did you sculpt the JCM on one side and then mirror it to the other? I ask because I have a guess that the distortion comes from the automatic morph split left right of the morph you may have loaded with MorphLoaderPro. But this guess depends on wether you have the JCM for one or for both sides.
My method of creating JCMs is to sculpt in symmetry mode on the clothes that adapt to a symmetrical pose and then back in Daz Studios Geometry Editor with Front View and Marquee Selection Mode you can select one half of the model and create yourself a Selection Set for left and right. You can use those Selection Sets in the MorphLoaderPro Attenuate By settings while loading the OBJ file with the symmetric JCM morph to once mask out the left then load the same OBJ morph again and mask the other side.
Have a look at this video New Morph Tools Intro especialy the part with eye blink left/right.
MorphLoaderPro and Daz Studio in general can have issues detecting symmetry in the mesh if some vertecies are a bit off and not perfectly symmetrical. It could be just this one unsymmetrical vertex that is causing the distortion.
You can use ZBrush there is this symmetrize or smart symmetrize button in the Deformation pallet to make the shorts perfectly symmetrical, then replace the base mesh with Edit > Figure > Geometry > Update Geometry this will also help lateron if you plan to fix the weight maps in Daz Studio while painting in symmetry mode. Ofcourse you can also have a look at the weight maps for the thighs side-side map and see if you can smooth out the distortion with the smooth brush.
Hi, NO, each JCM was sculpted seperately. I do realize it's like ONE frigging poly causing this but I have no idea how to fix just the the one. IF DAZ Studio had a morph tool brush this would have been fixed by now but the back and forth between ZBrush and DS wasn't getting me anywhere. I put on leg down the issues goes away so can't fix it like that either! LOL
So I guess I must have done this wrong. I created a new JCM for the right thigh... loaded that up, set it up and then loaded it again and renamed it for the left thigh and used the swap X .. Didn't work at all. So not sure what happened. The shorts are modeled to be symetrical on both sides so I would think by bringing in the new JCM for the right thigh and reversiing it using the X axis that the left would be affected correctly... see the screen shots below....
I don't know whats happening there maybe you have confused left and right? That can happen easily because you look at the model from the front but left and right are mirrored in the perspective of the figure.
You could also try to load the morph OBJ that includes the JCM for both sides and mask out one or the other half. Instead of my suggestion to create left and right Selection Sets you can also do it like showen in the video just create a Selection Set for one side and use the Strength -1 for to invert the Selection Set.
