Real people to Genesis characters

so I was wondering, is there such a program or addin like Facegen but for full body? If not, what would be the easiest way to transform real people into 3D characters. I was thinking about converting whole families (babies, kids, teens, adults, elders, pets) to 3D characters and printing them, selling etc

there are many 3d scanning apps that create photoreal 3D models https://www.fisherunitech.com/blog/3d-scanning-applications-cost

They are not usually rigged because of the technique used doesn't work well with rigging, although this PA has a few items that are https://www.daz3d.com/polygonal-miniatures

Keep in mind you will need permission/written to scan a person and use their likeness

Buy the DAZ Originals Head Morphs, Body Morphs, Expressions, and the Measure Metrics/Figure Metrics products along with FaceGen and apply morphs to get as close to the real person as you can.

The more famous ladies generally have their measurements posted online somewhere.  I've googled a few with a fair amount of success.

As nonesuch00 notes, yeah with morphs, expressions, and Measure Metrics you can put those measurements to good use.

It would be nice if there was a 'facegen-like' program for bodies though.

FaceGen can get you a good baseline, and occasionally it gets pretty close to a good facsimile, but I find that I generally have to do additional tweaks to the Facegen generated model, so it's good to have the morphs for that in any case.

BTW, a good primer on bra sizes can be helpful too when dialing in a feminine figure using the Measure Metrics measurements.  I ended up turning a guide I found online into a word document with pics, but due to copyright issues I probably shouldn't share that one. Plus, I can't find the page I copied the text from now.

This calculator looks pretty good though:

Note that there's a bit of a disagreement on the cup size lettering between the US and UK, etc.  This comes into play with well endowed ladies...

Famous men generally don't have cup sizes and other such listed with their stats though.  Usually, you are lucky to get height and weight...

Back to bodies, though, a 'kludge' is to use a body morph from another existing Daz model that is close to the person you are trying to replicate.  That can get you a good starting point for finer adjustments, saving you some time maybe.  Combining two full body character morphs can sometimes get you a bit closer for your baseline, but at this point you may be crossing into 'should have just used the baseline morphs, it might have been faster' territory.
