Clay render of product shows closed/buttoned shirt morph/geometry, but there are no textured renders of the closed shirt. I'd also like to see the closed shirt with thighs raised.
The shirt starts closed to fit around the figure, but it was intended and designed to drape opened, so there are no renders of the shirt closed. It is possible to keep the shirt closed by painting a custom dForce influnce weight map on the button plackets. I'm doing a mini tutorial for you right now to show how I got the look in the pic below.
I was literally thinking last night about how you could have a dForce item that could be closed or opened (altho I was thinking about zippers). I will await your tutorial with eager anticipation !

2. Select the shirt in the scene tab, go to Create/New dForce Modifier Weight Node
3. Select the newly created weight node in the scene tab. Over in the Tool Settings Tab, make the Node Weight Map Brush your active tool. Still in Tool Settings, in the Unused Maps box, choose dForce Simulation Influence Weights. Click Add Map.
4. The shirt should go all red meaning the whole shirt is 100% dynamic. Hold the ALT key down and do a couple quick swipes with the weight brush along the front of the shirt to turn parts blue.Don't over do it. You still want the parts to drape, just not as much.
5. Pose your guy and hit the Simulate button. You do want to keep Start Bones From Memorized Pose set to "ON"
On the last render I moved the second button in place to the front of the shirt over the buttonhole. There you have it. I know it may look a little daunting, but it really isn't. Shout if I missed anything.

I would like to add what I think is an important caveat to Destinys Garden generous tutorial, do not save over the set with these new weight maps as it will overwrite the one it's intended to be used with. Instead save as a new Wearables Preset with a unique name ie: Buttoned My Guy

Good caveat. I wish we could distribute weight maps separate form the base object as it would be helpful for many items in specific poses. Anyway, I always intended that a custom drape weight map would be painted on a case by case, scene by scene basis, and you really wouldn't save your weight map, other than in the scene file. Once you get used to it, they are so easy to whip up what you need for the scene. Good tip though, don't overwrite the original or chaos may ensue.
i'd like to reup this post because i need some help , i own the "my guy Jeans&Shirt" product and i when i load the shirt it comes "closed" and i have NO IDEA how to get it open ... please anyone help me ... am i the only one in that case ?
I'm having the same issue as alapoubellelesspams. The item comes with the shirt closed. I pose my character, simulate and the shirt stays closed. I want it opened. There are NO morphs to allow the L and R panels of the shirt to be spread apart. Am I missing something here? I even have a dForce WIND NODE blowing on the shirt and it's not opening!
I apologize for the inconvenience, however, any help would be WONDERFUL <3
Thank you!!! ~ Alora

Showing that the whole shirt is dynamic
The shirt is intended to open during a simulation so that it looks natural. Morphs tend to look "less than" natural.
hunter.kiefer, I see a couple of issues that could be giving you trouble. (Unfortunately, @alapoubellelesspams, without screenshots, I have no idea if these answers will help you.)
In the Simulation Settings, you have Initialization Time set to zero. I've found the zero setting to work well when using the Animated Timeline, but when doing a Current Frame render, It is sometimes very beneficial to give it a value. Even 0.10 can make a difference, as this "relaxes" the mesh before simulating.
The My Guy shirt was designed to be used without an undershrt, but you're using the Billy Bob Tank. Looking at the second image, it appears to me some of the "wrinkles/folds" of the tank top are intersecting the mesh of the My Guy shirt. This could be holding the shirt in place, preventing it from opening. You can use the undershirt, but you may need to take steps to prevent the insecting. I'd try simulating with the tank top hidden. After the sim, unhide the tank top. There are things you can do get rid of pokethrough, if reenabling Smoothing isn't enough.
You're using Current Frame. Try switching to Animated Timeline. At Frame 0, have your figure in the default pose. Apply the pose at the midpoint of your timeline. The default is 31 frames. I usually use 61. Starting the figure in the default pose will give the simulation more time to open the shirt.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have more questions, be sure to come back and ask.
i can use daz3d pretty good, but i am a total total noob when it comes to "dforce" (i find the whole thing very complicated and the only video tutorial i saw is very blur because of a kind of bug , the HD can't be switched on and it's impossible to see what the guy show on the screen..)
In fact i find it difficult because dforce is linked to animation , and i NEVER use animation & timeline .
So my first question might be stupid , but is there a way to use it only for one frame ? or do we HAVE to set a timeline & all , when all we want to get is a single illustration at the end ?

You can, in the simulation tab just be sure to choose Current Frame instead of Animation Timeline from the Frames to Simulate dropdown.

As others have responded, you don't have to use the animated timeline with dForce. I recommended trying it to see if that would allow the shirt to drape open the way you wanted it to. To be clear, though, you can render a still picture from any frame on a timeline. I do it with nearly every image I create that uses dForce, as I don't create animations, either.
Prior to using it for dForce, I'd never used the Timeline. It's really pretty basic in Daz Studio through 4.11, and I found it easy to learn for use with dForce. I believe it's a tool well worth learning for dForce, too, at some point. When you're ready. (I think "when you're ready" was about three years into using DS for me!)
Be sure and try the first two things I mentioned above. Either one, or both together, could allow the shirt to open as expected.
It can also help to add (Simulation Settings pane) a dForce Modifier Static Surface to non-dForce clothing like a tank top under the shirt, and then set the friction on the tank top very very low (Surfaces pane).

I really like the way this looked. Picked it up and your texture expansion too...

Thank you so much, @DestinysGarden!
1. Load desired figure and jeans and shirt outfit

Thank you both for your tremendous efforts on this outfit.
Thank you for the outfit, tutorial and textures. Instant buy!

Thanks to all for the kind words.
I really appreciated finding this tutorial. This is a fantastic product, by the way.

Pose and morph your guy, go to the simulation tab and click the simulate button.
Goooooooood day, DestinysGarden,
I hope you are doing well <3

how can we simply open the shirt, no matter what the pose is...

You don't need to set a timeline just pose the figure and then hit simulate with 'Start Bones From Memorised Pose' set to on.
If you don't want that just turn 'Start Bones From Memorised Pose' to off.

Good point! (Wish I'd thought of that…! lol)
well guys, MANY thanks to all of you for the answers !
I'll start with the Mada tuto and then check precisely every tips you gave me
thanks again
