Legacy UV's question

I just purchased the Leagacy UV's V4 to G8F.  My question is do I need to load the whole skin and save as duf for every makeup option?  Or do I need to just do the face skin for each makeup?

    When you save a material preset, you have the choice of which surfaces to save from the selected figure (this is true for any material preset). You get that dialog after you pick a name and location for the preset file (wish it were the other way around, myself). In this case, deselect everything except the face (assuming all the make-up is on the face).

    Thank you!  Also is there anyway to save the materials/character after you have done all the steps?  I tried saving both as material and character but it doesn't display correctly.
