Maia Hair Poses presets are broken!
I'm useing DS PB 4.12.0.60. Maia Hair was released in the Genesis 3 cycle as part of the Mei Lin 7 Pro Bundle during the later part of the DS 4.9+ release cycle. A bit surprised the poses presets for that hair aren't working.

I don't have this particular hair so I can't test it myself, but did you autofit the hair to a Gen 8 character? If so, that might be why. Try testing it on a Gen 3 female character and see if it works.
If the poses work then, follow Sickleyield's tutorial for converting it to Gen 8, and that should solve your problem: https://www.deviantart.com/sickleyield/journal/Tutorial-Convert-Clothing-G3-to-G8-G8-to-G3-686682065 (All you'll need is the scene identification switch for the hair).
If that's not the issue, then unfortunately I won't be able to help.
I have, and I'll try it with .46 beta; not upgraded yet as not broke and I saw some issues with .60 reported.
Fitting to breaks things; change the scene identifyer to G8.
Edit:
I had no issues changing scene identifier to Genesis 8 Female then fitting to G8 reasonably extensively morphed character; all hair poses were present.
I'm not having any issue applying pose or material Maia Hair presets with DS PB 4.12.0.60. (Daz Connect Installed)
Oh thanks! I did auto-fit to Sakura G8F! I will follow the directions you shared from SickleYield.
I suspect it's using Hierarchical Materials Presets to apply settings to the hair and accessories - those do depend on the base figure's being correct. If there are also individual presets for hair and props those will work; if not you could save your own from the hair applied to the Genesis 3 female.
its g3 hair used on g8 and the user allowed autofit to remove the bones so that broke the rig - working solution posted above from sickleyield's tute :)
Ah, I was thinking it was materials (well, someone else did mention materials).
You're welcome; I hope that worked for you. I recently discovered that tutorial and found it super helpful. :-)
Yes, thanks, it's posed and I'm rendering the scene now.
I remember having been told that before but had forgotten. It's not very intuitive that autofit breaks posing hair but autofitted clothing still bends when a character is posed.
Heya :) it's about bones - autofit replaces the bones of the hair or clothing with the bones of the figure you fit it to. Most hair and clothes will work OK with that, simply following the new figure's bones. A lot of my hairs have custom bones, eg that posable long plait is not possible without a chain of custom bones, so autofit will destroy this function. Some clothes also have custom bones (long skirt/flaps, accessories, anything movable and not skin tight, etc) and you'll find their function will also be reduced by autofit. Good there's an easy solution between g3/g8 - other generations are not as simple. Older generation (g2 and older) hairs are best parented instead of autofitted.
