Interesting! Do you think we could see some previews of the interior? Is it furnished?

As a general rule, in the real world when you buy a house, you usually get a fresh coat of paint, refinished floors, the kitchen cabinets, countertop, and bathroom fixtures. That seems like a reasonable convention to maintain. So yes, the kitchen cabinets, kitchen sink and faucet, and the bathroom amenities are included. The rest of the house is wide open for your creativity to fill.

The very reasonably priced Appliances Pack is available at DAZ here. http://www.daz3d.com/appliances-pack

The product page will have plenty of promo images showing all the rooms, but I'll add the floorplan to help give a sense of the layout.

It looks really nice. I wasn't expecting it to be furnished but didn't think it could hurt to ask. ;) I like it. Do you anticipate doing more stuff like this? Like maybe an apartment or an office or anything? I quite like your stuff though to my memory it is usually more outdoors style sets.

Definitely will be doing more architectural environments for the next little while. There's a long list of wips, so it just comes down to the time it takes to create them. Coming up with the idea and concept happens pretty fast, it's all the finishing details that seem to take the most time. I'll still be doing exterior landscapes as well, but I also enjoy mixing things up a bit, it keeps the creative process interesting.

That's great news it'll make the set much more useful!

Useful is good. I try to provide stuff that's both versatile and useful. :-) Technically, the set includes 5 bungalows, main center, left, right, and 2 background bungalows which would be on an adjacent street and face the other way. Each one load separately, so people with slower computers can still gradually build up the scene as necessary. The three front ones have the most details and elements in them. Each bungalow is also parented so they can be selected and moved to extend the neighborhood block even further down the road, if your computer has the wherewithal to handle it.

Looks fantastic! Definitely on my list once it comes out. (Although one tiny suggestion... maybe include vinyl siding textures. Something about this design calls out for standard-issue tract housing vinyl. Call me crazy. :P )

I have a spacious two storey house already in the works.

I should probably mention, there are plenty of material zones, each room of the bungalow has its own mat zone for ceiling, floor and walls, allowing to change and decorate as required. It's also possible to move the bathroom fixtures around into different configurations.

Thanks Doc, it's been a while. I figured a quick nod to that which came before with some visual compatibility was a homage of sorts, and plenty has happened in the 2 years since I built the Yards, not least of which, I've learned a few more things about modelling. It's an evolution. Better tools, better products.

    Is there an attic? :)

The roof's basically in the 5/12 or 6/12 pitch range, so the attic space would be quite low and of little use beyond storage, so I had never considered it. There is no attic access door/panel (though if I had thought of it it probably would have been in the front closet. )

There are some dedicated attic products in the store. http://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=attic&x=0&y=0

It wouldn't be difficult to make an attic as a separate set, if there's a demand for that kind of space. I already have an unfinished Basement so making an unfinished attic could prove to be a useful companion piece.

This looks like a really cool set, FirstBastion. I have several of your sets, and I really like all of them. The morphs that you included, especially in your terrain sets, definitely help in making a scene original. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the Bungalow when it comes out on the market.

First impressions tell me this one's going straight into the cart. It really does look wonderful, and seems like it would fit perfectly with some of the other items I have in my runtime like the Neighbours Yard set. While I own, and love, the Dream Home set, I've also wanted something a bit more working-family rather than lifestyles of the rich and famous. This one looks to tick all of the boxes.

Judging by the screenshots, you've already done a lot of the work (I daren't say 'most' since I can only speculate what else needs completing), so do you have a rough idea of when we may see it in store? I'm eager to move the new Genesis 2 HD into their new home!

Thank you for the positive comments. :-) The set has gone through QA testing and is ready to go, we're just waiting now for DAZ to decide when they plan to release. Hopefully very soon.

There's no doubt, plenty can happen in suburbia... ;-) But plenty of nice things too.

I figured I'd give a quick notice that the Appliance pack seen in the Modern Bungalow promos is currently on the Black Friday sales list, it's $5.00 dollars on sale currently and $1.00 for PlatClub members. I thought it's a pretty useful set. They look good and render well, and the kitchen cabinets and laundry area are designed to work with them. Just FYI.

Still patiently waiting for release. Here's a couple interior shots from the dining room and living room. The mud room/laundry door opens into the garage. And the exhaust fan over the stove area is included with the bungalow.

It is for both POSER and DAZ Studio and by extension it can be imported into VUE, Carrara, Bryce among others. :-)

    And it's NOW AVAILABLE.
