"Natural"-looking makeup

I end up doing a lot of my renders with no make-up,because I find the leap to even the basic eyeliner option is more than I'm looking for. Is there a good way to tone them down, or a set of less dramatic make-up for G3F/G8F that will let me add some subtle touches? Most of what I've seen looks pretty heavy-handed, which works great in a lot of cases, but it's always what is called for.

It must depend on how the makeup is applied.
If it is an LIE or an overlay, then you can tone down the effect.
If it is a different face texture, then you migth be able to use LIE, with natural face as base, and then the makeup face as aother layer with a lowered strength value.
This set says it has fade options. Will it work?
To be honest, I got this character mostly for the makeups because they're conservative compared to most and I can lessen the strength easily because they're overlays ;). Caked on makeup is something I never liked and still don't.

It works on both G3 and G8. It has some simple eye-liner and blush options.
The various eye shadow and lip options look pretty harsh in the promos, but that's because they're turned up to 100%. It's possible to tone them down and they look pretty good.
..Skin Builder Pro3 (as well as I imagine SBP 8) also allows for adjusting the intensity of the makeup options. It can also be used to apply overlays to any skin, not just those generated by the plugin.
