    I ended up getting the pro bundle for this guy because in spite of a couple of the outfits being things I may well never use (matador and Latin dancer ones) the rest can be useful either fully utilized of kit-bashed in things I do tend to render. Also, the base character really does appeal.  At first glance I thought something was “off” about the jaw and chin but then I took another look And really saw the character in the character if you will.  I will hopefully have time later on in the weekend to render something with all the new stuff I picked up.   Also the flurry of associated coupons was VERY nice to receive .  Thank yo very much DAZ for letting me clear a few things off my wishlist as well as grab a couple of things I had been considering but felt we’re priced too expensively for the use I may get out of them.  All things considered, I am VERY happy with the way this sale allowed me to optimize my limited spending power.

    Growing up in New Mexico and California, there are many aspects of Mexican culture that I just accept as part of my life, and don't realize that as an 'Anglo' it is not something that someone from the East Coast has no concept of. But don't ask me to speak Spanish, I have a speech impediment and mess it up. But the little I know, helped me when I had a layover in Madrid, Spain, when I was flying home for my mother's funeral. The people of Spain were so kind.

    I can relate to growing up in Mexican culture.. I have grown up since a very young age in Texas... I would not even feel at home anymore if I wasn't here.. and without the food, culture and heritage here.. I was so hoping for these characters

    Okays, had to up the game a bit on the image, I think.

    I used the Sci-Fi Settler outfit from Michael 8 (reaching back to Antiquity!) because the good ol' Vaquero will be represented a'plenty. I also stole the Cowboy scarf from one of the Genesis 3 kits.

    I had Spanish in college and can't do that tongue rolling r thing either. Or that uvala trilling they suggested instead either. laugh I'm going to take up Spanish for fun this winter. I've already ordered the course.

    hm, diego looks pretty nice. pro bundle content is not for me though.

    hate the 5 X 20$ for free deal, that's even more confusing and much less useful than their usual sale. 

    Although it's set up well. At least from the perspective of a PC member, all items are just barely over 10$, so you either waste almost half the coupon...or pay juuust a little extra on top. It seems like a pretty transparent sale strategy, but it is quite effective. So a thumbs up to sales team.

    I don't have Miguel, but I find this promo image to be very telling. In spite of having 50% of four different Base Figures, Miguel's features come through very strong. That bodes well for the character without a Base Figure mixed in, I think.

    I personally find the matador outfit disturbing and am sad to see it included in the pro bundle.

     But now at last I have a suitable opponent for the minotaur. wink

    Miguel was created from Genesis 8 Male base without any figure added at the time, I only added Diego later on in his creation because I wanted him to be versatile and work with other models just in case people would like to do so.

    I don't find any darker skin mats in his bundle like the skin of ppl I see here all day every day where I live in Texas.  All the Hispanic/Latiino ppl in my area are darker than any of the Diego ones, himself included.  How is that achieved?
    Will we able to get more facial features i.e. noses,eyes,lips and weathered tough skin like the older man in the Caballero promo?  The other one I like is the silouhette of Diego profile with the hat and glasses.  Granted, expert lighting and post, but still....gotta like it.
    'Prime Diego' ?  I guess it's supposed to be a way of getting more out of the base figure for ppl like me who like the Diego base but dont like/want the other characters. 
    I had just put the base and some addon textures plus the prime thing in my cart, but 'ala carte' stuff in my cart even with the discount was going to be more expensive than the bundle and the 2 addons. Can't afford the HD thing. Wait another year for that to go on sale. 

    I have the pro bundle, prime diego, textures for Caballero and street smarts, plus the poncho outfit and texures. Using the Diego coupon and $16.31 I had in store credit from a return, it bought all that down to $58.13. Wating to see if ppl here think that's a good price for all the items I'm getting before I pull the trigger on the Place Order button.

    I forget what proportion was the Pro Bundle. $42-ish? $41 and change? Something like that after the Addict's Coupon.

    Was a little more expensive for me and cost me $87 in store credit after the coupon. But I included 5  (instead of 4) addons one of which was the somewhat pricey HD addon. And the store credit was some I had gotten earlier at a 20% discount; so my real cash cost was about $70.

    Well, I'm going to get it then.  Looks like wth my coupon and credit, $58.13 seems reasonable.

    But, I should also say that even using Vladimir's normal maps with any other male skin will age it pretty well. Vladimir's normals are quite strong. I'll try them with diego's skin and post a render, if you give me a few.
