Jepe is working figures in Genesis 8 now? That'll have to be something I look at...

Same thing I said for Gabriela: I wish there were more indigenous looks represented, but it’s a good model, and it’s great to see some color.

Edit: I'll admit I don't want everything in the pro bundle, but the 3 things I do want plus the 2 add ons I also want with my PC+ coupon add up to less than the pro bundle/2 add ons and Diego's coupon.
I like just about all of what's on offer, this time. This one is going to take some decision-making.
A number of the outfits are definitely niche items. But it's a niche which is currently pretty much empty for current generations. I've no objection to filling it on spec.
Woof. Too much good stuff. Going to have to take a little time to figure this one out. Wish the coupon lasted a little longer, but that's ok...
No purple banner... I guess I didn't spend enough money recently...
Note on the coupons. One time use, one at a time, there is no combining and read the what should go in the cart carefully.
I like a couple of the outfits, none of the extra characters in the bundle and the hair in the bundle is....meh. The one is...well, I don't like it. The other looks a bit like the hair that came in Sanjay's bundle. The stuff I really like isn't part of the bundle, but I'm gonna have to buy the bundle to keep the prices in my cart from getting ridiculous. I'm really getting tired of buying stuff I don't want to get stuff that I do. Daz, please consider build-your-own bundles in the future. It would really help a lot and I'd probably buy just as much if not more if I could do that.
Anyway, I do like the base figure and most of the morphs in P3D's morph pack. Two of those look more Central American latino than any of the extra characters on offer today (including Diego himself), which is what I was hoping for.
On a side note...I don't think I've EVER gotten so many coupons at one time here...right now my brain is just too tired to process them all. Have to sleep on it ;)

Yeah, the hairs are okay, but they do have the "Seen it before" feeling after another "ethnic" figure in Sanjay. Why does "ethnic" have to equal scruffy? Why not a short & pretty hairstyle like Enrique Iglesias? Of course, men's hairstyles aren't exactly extensive, so there's bound to be some repeat feeling.
The only outfit that I'd definitely use would be the Caballero outfit. Err, ah... "cowboy". :-D
I wish we got the Poncho instead of one of the other "ethnic" outfits. The others are nice, but kind genre-specific. At least the Poncho gave me stuff to add up towards 4 add-ons.
OH... and my coupon was 10% off Diego Pro and 10% of his add-ons. (Aside from the pile of other coupons, which do not stack, of course)
I also ran into not wanting the entire pro bundle, and even with the Diego coupon, the total of pro bundle and four addons was way above my budget for this month, so I've wishlisted the items I want and will pick them up eventually.
Also, is that free items offer 20$ of items free in total or per category? It seems to be in total, since I added a second item from another category to test and they were no longer free but their added price over $20 (not that I have items wishlisted in more than one category anyway).
So, the freebie coupons were nice, but I'll pass on Diego for now. There's always another sale...
Make sure to note that the last coupon for Diego should work with getting the pro and four addons (which get their own discount). For the coupon to work you'll need at least one addon if you don't want to do more then one addon. The other coupons have their own specific requirements.
Question: is the base texture without tattoos? Many of the promos for Diego seem to show at least one tattoo, and the others are unclear (i.e. don't show areas that have a tattoo in other images).
Yeah, he looks fairly nice, though his Pro Bundle's clothing items seem to be rather over stereo typed with the Latin Dancer, Bullfighter and Gang member, and of those the Matador is really un-PC now and the ganger seems to be really poor quality. .... the cabalerro is the only one I can ever see actually using. On the other hand, the number of purple bar offers is crazy...

The tattoos are seperate. There's even a version of them that are decals, so I gues they could be used on other characters and moved around. But I'm not really sure how decals work, so don't quote me on that.

I have spent so much money on this site in the last three months since I became a member, and no coupon for me. WTF? I didn't get one for Gabriela or Kanade, either. Am I being penalized because I didn't like the last few bundles? I certainly wasn't going to buy anime because I just have no use for it, and I didn't like Ellithia, but I bought the Elios bundle. Sigh. I just don't get it. Guess I will pick up my wallet and go home, so to speak. I am a bit sad he doesn't look more like Antonio Banderas, LOL, but I do like Diego.
His facial features have character, so he's got that going and I also like the Matador Outfit.
Glad that I didn't get any purple coupons, 'cause I wouldn't buy this one with or without them anyway. Again not really much in the pro pack that tickles my fancy...
Like AllenArt I don't see much central/south american in Diego without the two morph packs, which probably would make even Michael 8 look south american ^^
And although the "$ 100 worth of items for free" sounds nice, for me it's only about 1 or two items from each category, as more would go over the $ 20.- limit and I'd have to drop some more money into the deal to get more. And considering that the items are at their base price, I'd rather wait for some bargain sale instead to get them for about as much, as this pro pack special would cost me.
For the first time in my own Daz history I have decided not to buy a male pro bundle.I usually always try to support the 'male' character and clothing lines, but nothing about this character appeals to me in the slightest, with an exception of a few of the add-on characters. I'm really not getting the whole latino/spanish vibe with him. It's almost as if he's just a skin tone in a matador outfit. Daz nailed it with Sanjay, but Diego I find kind of lacking overall, but hey, you can't please all of the people all of the time. I think the Pro Bundle is very poor so I just picked up the hair and the cowboy outfit. I did love all the coupons, though. Totally agree with Laurie that there should be a build-your-own pro bundle feature, if not for the masses, then as a perk for those who usually receive loyalty coupons.

I may be the outlier here but I think DAZ did well with the ethnicity angle of this character. Ethnicity is not just about skin tone but also about facial and body structure. You could drop Diego in the middle of a street in Argentina, Spain, Columbia, Mexico, or even the Basque region and he would blend right in. I know this Because I have been told that I could blend in to the population of those regions despite having skin so fair that I can (and have) colored my hair almost cherry red in the past and it looked just fine. I also don’t sunburn as a rule. Genetics is an interesting thing. My known family history does not say that I have near relatives from any of these places but sometimes I am tempted to do a DNA test just to see how I could have turned out this way.
I kind of like him, but I got no banners this time, and the basic discount isn't enough for me to crack open the wallet. So I'll be passing.
