Anagenessis for Genesis 3

Can anybody tell me what Ive done wrong?

It renders OK I think but why does this happen when I apply the material to Victoria 7

I will be extremely grateful for some help to resolve this issue

Thank you :)

I don't own the genesis 3 version but I guess that you had surfaces selected while applying the script?

  • Thank you I'll check that out ????

You can also get artifacts like that in preview if there is opacity in the settings you are applying so that is something else to look for wink

If it isn't maps being applied to the wrong surface like Linwelly suggested, check that there aren't tiling values higher than 1. It kind of looks like the correct maps might just be tiled.

    +1

The character doesn't have the usual look that NGS have, but that may be because you're using v1 and not v2; i use v2 all the time.

I'm curious, how did you apply the Anagenesis shader to the character?

First time I double-clicked the shader which produced the above artifacts onto Victoria 7. However, the rendered image looked OK. Second time round I right-clicked the shader and chose merge to scene but the results were the same.

    There is something going wrong.

I loaded V8; applied Agenesis 2 shader (I don't have the original). I could have loaded V7 as works fine using the G3 shader option, I'm not sure if Agenesis will also work on G8.

if you look in the second image at the horizontal and vertical tiles, you'll see tiling set to 1; they should be the same on your figure, and if not, are you using the correct shader option? It doesn't seem to matter with Agenesis 2, but may with what you're using.

If you can't sort it out, I raise a help ticket with Daz..
