I have a legal question.

Can characters that I morph in Daz Studio be used as photo references to create dolls or manneqins for commercial purposes?  I assume that because the mannequins would be recreated through rendered images that it would be fine, but I could be mistaken.

You mean creating them from scratch based on reference images, not using 3D printing?

You’ll need to ask that one directly to Daz (via a support ticket), that’s a very specific use I don’t think we’ve ever seen mentioned in the forums.

Yeah, the recreations would only be made from using rendered images for references.  There would be no 3D printing.

That does seem to be perfectly OK  but, as Leana says,  there is no harm in asking Daz themselves by filing a help request.  The Forums are peer to peer.
