Technique for delicate dforce adjustments?

Hi all,

I'm working on a render where I am trying to have my figure pinch and lift the middle portion of a dress skirt while stepping over a puddle but when I try it the cloth either doesn't come with the fingers, the fingers go through the cloth or the dress EXPLODES. Scooping cloth with hands or cylander primatives from an edge is one thing, but pinching the middle of a sheet of cloth is another.

dForce Magnet might be useful to you: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-magnet

(For a different type of fine adjustments, exporting the results of dForce to an OBJ file and editing it as a morph in something like Blender can also be a very useful tool).

You will definitely want to watch those videos. While the tool is incredibly useful and powerful, Esha shows that to get the very best results from it, you'll have to do more than just point and click.

Also, watch out for the sliders in the dForce Magnet dialog. For some of us, moving those sliders caused Daz Studio to crash. The product creators were not able to reproduce the bug, but it affected more than just me. Be sure to save your work, or do like I do and never touch those sliders! The magnets themselves are great.

Haha, so I've learned. Can't move too quickly.

They don't crash me but they do move very slowly
