Anyone else having issues with Riversoft's Character Converter

I bought this as I have a few G3 characters that I really miss since converting to Genesis 8.  Trying to convert Fridels Jun character and all I get are warnings.  When I select the Jun folder using the add directories button, I get a "No NEW files detected" warning box and when I drill down to my Jun foldwer in the My Daz Library folder and select all the .duf files there, I get a warning box stating "No character files detected".  I'm stumped here or I am missing somethign obvious.  I am doing what the Character Converter .pdf manual says but not working.

I have occasionally had issues with getting the RS convertors (in this case, the clothing convertors) to register files from other stores, although I can't immediately remember how I fixed it.

Is it just 3rd party assets you're having trouble with, or can you not convert anything?

Does that character appear in Smart Content as "Actor"? Looking at it's ReadMe file on Rendo, it seems to be set up as "Apply All" - which maybe is a Shaping not an "Actor"?

I think the character convertor may only be looking for Actors - maybe ask on the main commercial thread here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/340346/released-character-converter-from-genesis-3-female-to-genesis-8-female-commercial#latest

You might get advice quicker if you post in the thread in the commercial products area -  the product PA is posting there, and so is more likely to see your post:

Yes, you're more likely to get advice on the commercial threads in general. That said, I do believe the issue is that many characters aren't saved as actors, but as morph presets. In that case, you'd have to use the Convert Scene Character G3F to G8F script instead. Load both G3F and G8F in a scene. Dial in whatever character it is you want on the G3F. Select G3F, then Ctrl Select G8F, and then run the Scene script.

Edited to add: Looks like the Actor files are generally under ...People\Genesis 3 Female\Characters rather than the subfolders.
