    I'm in no hurry for the next generation of Genesis. I have bought quite a lot of Genesis 8 stuff but I still have a better selection of things for the older versions, I certainly don't want to start buying stuff for another new version yet.

    As I understand it, there was some popular software so badly designed that windows 9 would be identified as windows 95; given that the observation was made very early in development I'm assuming it was a Microsoft product . . .

    It is certainly a rumour; a believable one too.

    ... It also made for a great marketting ploy - very convenient.

    I am not sure now which thread it was in but months ago it was officially announced that we wouldn't see Genesis 9 until next year. I will have to try to think really hard and if I remember post a link.

    Wolf350 Stop telling people the only way to do animation and modelling is with expensive programs, that's been proven wrong on multiple occassions by many artists and movie production companies.

    If you truly believe spending lots of money is the only way to go, then what are you doing on a site who's biggest promotion is free software?

    No, it's actually a popular browser SW that had trouble with 'Windows 9'.

    What, DAZ? They said earlier this year that Genesis 9 would not be coming out in 2019. Not sure what else they would say at this point.
