Lancey Hair dforce issue or bug

Apparently this is Lancey Hair dforce, just a rectangular prism. It matters not if I apply to the Genesis 8 figure, or to the hair if I load it instead. I tried applying mats or options. Nothing. Simulating it.. nothing but an error message saying there's no dforce object.
So.. what's going on here?
Where's an instruction manual for the hair? I tried the info tab next to the product download in Install Manager, but it isn't helpful.

You mean the one from this product? That’s dForce Hair using the new features introduced in 4.11, not just Hair with dForce settings. So the first question is, are you using at least 4.11? If yes, did you install the latest version of dForce starter essentials which include support items for dForce Hair (like the hair shaders) ?
Yes. Lancy (no 'e' sorry). And yes, updating has fixed it thanks ^^ Had no idea there was one
