I just purchased this: Alascanus Merman for Genesis 8 Male(s) plus Mertail and Fins, I've downloaded it 4 times and everytime I try to install it winrar tells me that the archive is corrupt. If anyone else has this could you do me the HUGE favor of checking the file, to see if it's a problem on my end or there's actually something wrong with the file. Thanks.

I have the product and the download seems to be corrupted on the Daz side. Ticket time!
Thanks. I guess I'll file a ticket as well.
When you get a corrupt download yu should clear your Browser cache before trying to download it again otherwise the new downloaad will corrupt again at the same point.
I should mention that it does install properly with DIM and the Connect files. I tried again with a different computer, cleared cache, five separate archive utilities, and all say the standard download is corrupted.
There are 4 ways :
One of them should work at least.
Well, since I only manual install, I only have the one option.
Edit: Also I cleared cache and redownloaded, still corrupt.
nemesis10 reports the DIM download works for him (?) so you could download the zip with that and not install, then copy that to wherever and install manually (don't forget to use DIM to delete the original)
Also maybe check Winrar is up to date.
I could, but I don't have DIM installed at all and i don't feel like going through all the macinations required to get that up and running and not have it try and reinstall all my content. I'll just wait and see what tech support has to say. Or I'll try and redownload it in a week.
And winrar is as up to date as it can get without me actually buying it.
Winrar is unlikely to be the problem particularly if you have had no issues with other current Daz downloads.
A while back there was a hiccup with a sequence of the manual .zip downloads — they contained zero-length files, and something about the way they were put together gave some unzip utilities the electronic heebie-jeebies. Maybe this one was missed when the problem was being fixed?
Come to think of it, have you tried running the WinRAR repair function over it? I've found it's very good at fixing most common failure types.
I can try the repair function. Perhaps that will sort it out.
If the repair doesn't work, I was going to suggest putting in a support ticket, then I noticed you already did. Has there been a reply yet?
Nope, no response and the repair function did not help at all.
I don't use WinRar but I have found that 7-Zip can usually extract zip files that won't work with Windows Explorer. It's usually zero length files that cause the problem in explorer.
I got a response from Tech support, "It's been passed on to QA and they'll let me know when it's fixed." And she recommended I use 7-zip in the interim to unpack it.
Just you need the files, I mean DIM can download the package and you extract manually the content from this ZIP archive for example.
