....could've sworn it was Stonemanson ;-)

Yes, when I saw it this morning my first thought was Stonemason, so was a bit surprised to find it wasn't. I've been pretty impressed with the quality and detail produced by some of the PAs lately.
Honestly the sheer quality of the models produced by the DAZ artists floors me. I was learning 3D asset creation as a means to an end for illustration, but when I’d load in a Daz model next to mine I just realized it would be better to use my time for drawing and leave the modeling to the experts. A lot of times we can’t use superficial textures when using 3D models for 2D art, so I was amazed to find how much detail the artists actually sculpted and carved into the mesh itself. There’s one that’s Red Riding Hoods cabin where the artist actually carved the mesh of the wooden beam to look like wood without use of textures or overlays. It was absolutely gorgeous.
That old city is haunting me but I’m trying to behave with the big downloads until I can afford a computer better suited for 3D. My trusty MacBook Pro is great for everything else but when it comes to Daz or Blender or Maya you can hear the poor thing screaming in pain.
i had the same thought, because the environment is so good...and it does look like it'd make a really nice companion set for urban future 6.
there's what i take to be a nice clever homage to the australian mural artist david 'meggs' hooke in promo 9, who i've kind of suspected for a while stonemason might be an admirer of. the little flyer on the wall that says 'house of meggs'.
but dang, it's a very impressive environment. great stuff. and i look forward to seeing more of charles' work in the store.

That brick mesh work is KILLER. Charles is definitely bringing the fire. I just bought it, and I can't wait to see what I've got. Hopefully, there's a follow-up coming. Bravo!
...very 'Bladerunner-ish". This will work well for my Cyber future scenes. Wishlisted for now.
One aside: What gets me is whenever I click a link in a post to look at a product in the store, and then try to make a comment, I get a "page not found" error and have to refresh the forum page. You can't even save a draft beforehand so whatever you wrote is gone.
The set has signage in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. And there's a note of a Memorial Day Sale in the underground. Really impressive!
I definitely am impressed. Is this a new PA? I know we've had a number of products by a 'Charlie' but not a 'Charles'.
My only moaning is over the Iray only. Although I admit I would happily purchase an add-on of the signage in something other than Asian charactres. I really would prefer to know what my illustrations are saying, loudly, in glowing letters.
Sure looks nice:) Wouldn't mind seeing the 3DL preset though. Anyone knows if there are those unconvertable custom IRay shaders in the set?
I was impressed with this set as well, even though I personally have no immediate need of it. Like others, I thought the quality was "Stonemason" like, and you don't get a greater compliment than that.
I would be very interested in knowing where you saw that Red Riding Hoods cabin! Thanks!
