  G3M had rather poor armor options compared to some other male bases, but here's the best I know of:

  I don't believe I've seen a good, conventional, Howard Pyle Illustrating the Knights of the Round Table, full-plate option for G3M.

  Good luck! Even with premade poses, posing a horse and rider scene realistically, with tack on the horse and clothes on the rider, is an uphill battle.

  Actually I'm looking for something a bit more conventional like Knight Champion Outfit for Genesis 8 Male only for G3M.

  I've gotten Knight Champion to sort of work on G3M; I used a free tutorial on clothing conversion by Sickleyield (pretty easy to use, but can't seem to link to it from this computer) and then set the smoothing modifier on some of the outer items (like forearm armor) to collide with the underlayers.

  Autofit tends to mess up armors pretty badly, and I don't own enough of them for G2M to gauge whether the RSSY G2M to G3M script would help in this case.

  Thanks for all the suggestions.

  Just a quick update I went with G2M instead of G3M and used Old World Knight for Genesis 2 Male(s) together with DA Mounted Knight Pose Set. Here is the result
