Auto_adapted...Can I delete these safely?

I have many content folders with some dating back quite a while. In the data folder of many of these content folders I have auto_adapted folders. I know this has something to do with poser. Not entirely clear.

Can these be safely deleted? I most likely will never need to reopen some of those scenes that were using that content.

I am wondering when I create an object is it generating any auto adaped content? I am doing my best to learn and create my content in the appropriate file hierarchies. The auto_adapted(data files) seem to be seriously bloated. I still use Poser sometimes.

If it was just Poser content then probably as you could just load them back in again.

However it's not just Poser content that gets saved into there, anything you might have used Autofit on and saved as a scene/subset/wearable will also be in there, same goes for the Transfer Utility.

Basically anything that doesn't come as DUF/DSF will end up in there when you save it as a scene/subset.

my Poser Auto Adapted folders end up in my Poser library anyway, anything in the DAZ one is just old scenes as you said autofitted etc so really just keep ones you are going to reuse and bin the rest
