how to turn off shadows pls

Am using a M4 character and his shadow is against a wall. Is there a simple way to turn it off shadows pls.

    If you're rendering with Iray then AFAIK you can't have lights oor objects which don't cast shadows.

    You'll have to go 3delight if you don't want shadows.

    you could try to add another light above and between the figuer and the wall to blow the shadow out. Or you try to move the light so the sahadow falls into another direction but then your gigure might not be lighted enough

    Or do two renders. One with the figture and one without, then edit them together to remove the shadow. But it may look strange if the viewer thinks there should be a shadow and there isn't one.

    I may be (probably am) mis-remembering, but I seem to recall that setting the render mode to Interactive rather than Photoreal allows you to at least tweak, if not completely turn off, shadow intensity? (Unfortunately, my DAZ laptop died so I can't verify this at the moment.)

    I never tried that mode, interesting question
