Yes, I understand the importance of parentable targets and no, they were not added.
It is in the change log and in the Highlights thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/4622591/#Comment_4622591
Press buttons until it works, breaks, or crashes. If you're trying to do something specific and you know what it's called then Google it. Don't bother with the forum search here, it's terrible, Google will find it much faster. Take note of the age of the results, a lot of features (especially the more hidden development ones) have moved loactions one or more times in the past 5 years or so. Though even if they're old they should hopefully give you a hint of where to find things or at least what the function is called. A lot of things are hidden in right click menus in the viewport and those options change based on what tool you're using at the time. (manipulation, surface, polygon, etc), some things are hidden in the the hamburger menus in the corner of the different tabs. Some are in the file/edt/etc menus up top.. a lot of functions are in several or all of those locations. I find the right click viewport and hamburger menus to be more convinient just because they narrow down the functions to what's appropriate, the menu up top can be very daunting.
Thanks. Not *really* an IK system then as I understand it, since in 4.11.0.383 if I pin the feet and attempt to move the hip or pelvis down, the figure doesn't keep it's feet fixed and sit/squat nicely (as in an IK system such as Blender's) - the feet quickly become unpinned and the figure starts to flail around, much like it did in previous versions.
Read up about photography and posing; investigate light and how to use it.
If you're using Iray it is especially relevant.
Click stuff, break stuff; then re-install it. don't forget to try it in custom folders ready for all the content you're going to buy and never use.
