Some Free Stuff... Just Because

A free coupon offer just flashed on the screen with some fairly clear instructions - but for some reason it doesn't work.

The offer is for $5 towards the price of a DAZ Original item - it is specified that it cannot be a new release, gift card or PC+ item.

The offer increases to $10 with the purchase of "any new release". I imagine "any" new release is "any" item with the Green Diagonal Bar that says "New" in the top right corner (not to be confused with specificly stated current releases for other special offers in the past).

To test this I loaded this in the cart:

It's a DAZ Original that is not new or PC+ - the coupons for either the $5 non-purchase or $10 new-release purchase (when the cart is updated) are rejected as invalid.

Anyone else have this issue?

    The item you linked IS a PC+ item.

    Nope, not workin.

    Edit: DOES work if you have a NEW item in the cart with the DO item. But otherwise didn't work for me with another item that was not new. Also didn't work with the DO item by itself.

    RE-edit: I guess one has to really pay attention to what one is buying. If you get a DO alone and use the 5-DAZ coupon it works. 10-DAZ coupon works with new.... Another confusing Daz "sale" unless you read carefully. LOL

    Well the $5 one worked fine on its own on the fastgrab willow tree

    I used the $10 on a DO with a PC+ Item as a new item

    I had the same setup, and it worked for me.

     

    Looks like the $10 coupon is still available for multiple uses, too, though I haven't tried that.

    Thanks... my bad. I didn't catch the purple PC+ on the main menu & didn't see the tiny blue one on the top. And of course the higher price than most PC+ items (I thought the extra texture set was PC+).

    Not many DAZ Originals left within the coupon parameters that I'm interested in - takes too long to find something... the price of being a lucrative customer I guess. :|

    Can you please give me the codes to try? I had the same purple banner flash across my screen. I copied the $5 code, but my daughter was having trouble logging in to another sight so I used my clipboard for something else and nowthe banner is gone and so is my code. :-(

    I tried 5-DAZ-FREE on both a Fast Grab item and an older texture product, and got the code invalid error message.

    EDIT: I have discovered that somehow, even though I copied the coupon from the banner and pasted into the coupon field, I had an invisible character before the 5. I know the coupon still isn't working for everyone, but if you get the code invalid error, double-check to make sure there isn't a leading or trailing space on the end of the code. That could just save you a bit of frustration!

    I really thought they had fixed that a long time ago. Takes 1 line of code to auto-remove leading and trailing spaces.

    If you didn't get the banner coupon then the code won't work.

    It worked on Akila plus the Jumbo Side Braids that I don't really need, but i still had to look at them in the cart anyway.

    That is a Fast Grab Item. In theory coupons do not apply to Fast Grab, although they did for me. Maybe they changed the rules for this coupon so it does not apply to Flash Grab items.

    ...well had other things to do today and got home after 23:00 PDT (00:00 Daz Time) so missed on this one....like has happened so many times with these banner sales.

    just missed the freebie thing, but now I have a 20% off any order for 'loyalty'.  Expires the 12th. Best get my motor running so I don't miss this one too.

    ...used to do that when I didn't have a bankcard.  I'd send them a prepaid MO for a 100$ - 150$ GC ahead of the anticipated "big sales".
