Maybe a Time Zone thing? What date does the order say?
Are there new items in the Temp PC sale? The banner says it's still changing daily, but I didn't seem to notice anything that stood out.
I had a coupon a few months ago, where the next months coupon was used on the last day of the previous month, and I thought I had used the past one, then assumed the new coupon must have been displayed and I copied it unknowingly. I chalked it up to Murphy. Now I'm wondering if I really didn't make an error.
I have seen the code that is displayed be changed late in the day. So the old code appeared in the morning (DAZ time) and then the new code appeared latter on in the evening (DAZ time) many hours before DAZ midnight.
The order says the 30th. And I'm pretty sure it was June's code with a 6.
Is your July coupon actually inactive or is it just a display problem?
You know how you can possibly tell? Start typing in the June code 06 beginning and see if it autofills. If you haven't used the July one (the 07) , that should work. Screenshot the autofill popup (do NOT put it in the box) and send to CS explaining that's what you did.
It says "used on order...." I didn't actually try to use it, though, since it said it was already used.
That's not smart. I'd expect that the June code would be displayed right until midnight, where it expires. If you don't now the trick about changing the number, how would you get it if it actually has changed before it expires?
the "love-platin" code is not working anymore????, it's not working for me even the fact which it's being display in the promotion.
'LOVE-PLATN' won't work. The correct one is 'LOVIN-PLAT' so check to see which one you actually used. And good luck!
I checked and 'LOVIN-PLAT' wasn't working for me but I don't know if it is restricted to new memberships.
i just typed wrong here but used the lovin-plat and it's not working here:
it was working before this "last day" i was just waiting to see if could be worth to get or not for the last day and now it's not working, at last for a "ex" platinum member"(just expired in last week).
Anyone unable to use the coupon (I tried after logging out and didn't work), I suggest a ticket with screenshot and time stamp, especially if you were trying to purchase 2.99 items after membership purchase.
... and I thought yesterday's giftcard would last a while....... :D
The weekend long sale says "‘Weekend Long’ Sale Items - 50% OFF¥, Get an EXTRA 20% OFF when you buy any New Release", but I'm only seeing an extra 10% off when adding a new release...?
Are you including at least one of the new 'Weekend Long' items? Just tested it and I'm getting the extra discount.
Yes, if I add one it goes from 50% to 60%.
Unless by "extra 20%" they are referring to a dicount applied _after_ the 50%? I assumed it was an extra 20% off the original price...?
That's how DAZ maths work. PA items are 50% off (0.5). If you have a qualifying item, you'll only pay 0.8 of that price.
0.5 * 0.8 = 0.4
That's 60% off. I gave up manually computing this a long time ago and just check mg cart using the browser DAZ Deals add-on.
You don't add percentages, you multiply them. The 60% off in the end is the correct discount.
Thanks, I get it now. Altough I can't image any physical store using this system when they write extra 20% off in the windows. :-)
Most physical stores do the same. This calculator can be helpful. https://www.omnicalculator.com/finance/triple-discount
If you figure it it that way it still comes out the same; recall the "Commutative Rule of Multiplication" from school...
Well, no. Extra 20% off original price is -x*0.50 - x*0.20. Example: $100, 50% off is $50, extra %20 off original price is $20, i.e price is $30. 20% off the discounted price is 20% off $50, i.e. $10, so price is $40.
Anyway, no biggie, I know how it works now. Maybe it's an American thing, to me it seems an odd way of doing things, and it's not the convention where I live. They could avoid confusion though by just saying you get 60% off instead of 50% with purchase of a new item.
Nobody figures it that way here; if they took 20% off of $100 it would be $80, and another 50% off that would be $40. I t would be nice if they would just just give the total percent off, tho'....
But that total percentage is different for different people. If you're a PC+ member, you have an additional 30% off on DO, and your final price on DO items is less than someone else's, who is not PC+.
This item is no longer new, but isn't at 50% off and I think it should qualify. Any chance to give it a kick?

I've looked at my wishlist, there's quite a few not-new items only discounted to 30% (standard discount for PC+ members if it's a DO item).
The weekend sale is not a storewide discount - it only affects about half of items in the store.
Is there any link for all of the items that are included in the 50% off sale, since not all non-new items are included?
