Flexions for Biceps not working with G8??(SOLVED)

I just noticed that the flexions for biceps aren't working with 4.11 (or the current beta). I don't know if I had this problem before the upgrade or not, but was wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue (yes, Flexions are turned on)??
I tried reinstalling the starter essentials (with a new download), and that didn't seem to help.
When I check show hidden (searching for flex) in the parameters pane, the Biceps jcms show, but do nothing. I'm not able to move the pJCMFlexBiceps_R and pJCMFlexBiceps_L (not locked, and the parameter settings look OK to me). I am able to move the sliders for the pJCMFlexBiceps_twist_R/pJCMFlexBiceps_twist_L, but they seem to have no effect on the figures at all. All of the other flex morphs seem to work as expected, both when the figure is moved (i.e. proper joint is bent), and when the slider is moved in the parameters pane. I do also have what appear to be the proper .dsf files in the appropriate places (P:\DAZ\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female\Morphs\DAZ 3D\Base Flexions). So I'm at a loss as to what might be wrong.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!!

Morphs intrigue me, so took a look.
Using DS 4.11.0.382 Beta (didn't bother upgrading yet to 0.383 cos small change it seemed).
This is Luci G8F.
Did have to click this override icon (as opposed to lock) to make slider move.
Hm. Dust, mine appear to be working okay?
Thanks!!
Interesting. I can move the slider when I use the override setting, and the morph works, so the morph isn't broken (that's good). But unlike the other morphs, where the ERC is working as expected (i.e. when I bend the lower leg, the hamstring compresses and the values change), the pJCMFlexBiceps values to not change when I bend the arm. Obviously something has happend to break the ERC/JCM link. Now the big question is does anyone know how to fix it? I've never done any ERC/JCMs before so I really don't have a clue (looked arounf in the parameter settings a bit, but didn't see anything obvious (not that I really had a clue what I was looking at).
My suspicion is one of your newer purchases broke the link somehow.
Or have you done any x-morphs or Singular's G3 to G8 morphs? That made some wonky thinkgs happen for me I needed to fix.
Checked it cos am a noobie with DAZ and want to know too.
When i added a "Left Forearm Bend" - "Twist" to -90 as per attached image, the bicep showed up! Yay! Without twist, nope. For this image increased the max value to 300% for pJCMFlexBiceps, cos wanted to see how that would look. At default 100% max was visible, but not as prominent. Also bodybuilder morph also affected the size but bobdybuilder does everything which isn't necessarily always so for people who want want bigger shoulders or neck muscles. Is odd you need your hand in weights curl position (twist forearm -90) for bicep muscle to flex. Anyone who tries to stay fit can see that a raised arm will cause bicep to form though bit diffferently based on forearm twist.
No x-morphs and haven't used Singulars G3 to G8 morphs. I've thought that they didn't seem to be working for a while, so it may have not have been something I installed recently. Whats odd though is that both G8F and G8M are "broken", and I have virtually no G8M content (no characters). I do have Neo Boots from FUNtasi for both g8m and g8f, but I wouldn't think boots would break ERC/JCM's.
But, obviously something broke it. I've never really used G8M either.
LOL, just posted 1 second before you with what worked for me.
I do had "Admirable or Impish Poses" from Farel Fae, which installed into both G8F and G8M, but that is the only thing that I have for both figures.
If you look at Leonides image his forearm is twisted too. Would be curious if he gets a bicep without the twist.
Well DUH!!!!
Thanks Saxa!!
Now I really feel stupid, of course you need to twist the forearm to make the bicep flex properly. Problem solved, thanks so much!!
Haha.
Hey I learned about the existence of these morphs! Thanks!! Will leave my wondering crinkled eyebrows whether arm twist is necessary for "some" bicep actuation for another thread and day lol.
No doubt shouldn't be a requirement, and IMHO should have more effect without the twist. I guess it's just naturally more pronounced when the forearm is turned/twisted to the proper "curl" position, so it was designed to work only with the forearm twisted???
Appears that way. Was actually funny to pose arm in bend position, and then as twisted forearm that bicep grew and grew to the max amount at full -90 twist. But knowing now that we can change the max bicep morph size, gives some options! More range to play with. Which is great.
Think actually when things slow down at DAZ customer ticket support, will ask them that question if that's the design intent. Don't want to be missing out on something.
