poses move my character

Using canned poses or poses I saved as a preset -

How do I apply them where they do NOT relocate my character to a different area in the scene?

    If you <ctrl> click on your pose, it should open a menu where you can select to not include translations.

    Poser, other than placement poses, should not adjust the figure node's translations - if you are moving the figure in the scene use that node, not the hip, to move it and all should be well. You can also hold down cmd/ctrl while double-clicking a pose preset and in the dialogue that opens deselect the hip (and figure) transaltions to leave placement unchanged.
