Where are the files saved?

in The Commons

In DAZ Studio i click on "Smart Content" (Product View). Then i make a right click on any Product Image and select "More Information ...".

Finally in the new opened "Explorer" i click right on the product image and choose "Save Image".

Unfortunately i can't find the saved image anywhere on my system. So ... where are the files saved?

    Try it again and note which folder it goes to.

    Sometimes the paths don't match up. For example, when saving a render to "Render Library," it gives a C:documents/user... Daz3d... path. However, when I tracked back that path there was nothing there. It took several minutes of searching the various C:documents/user...Daz3d... paths until I found my saved renders. The path was similar, but not identical to where Daz Studio said it was saving them to. In fact, the default path that the Save dialogue said it was saving the renders to didn't exist!

    Worst case scenario, save your image or render with a weird, bizarre file name and then do a search for said weird, bizarre file name on your hard drive(s). That's where Daz Studio is saving things. Also note that scenes are not always saved in the same place as finished renders which might complicate things.
