i really get a little disappointed on that one, really does looks like girls aways get the best treatment while the guys get the "basic".

I got the base figure, Cormac, and the Drago Hair and Beard. Gorgeous guy and killer dforce hair and a beard.
I'm not interested in anything else. Don't care for the whole Greek god genre, and whatever the Adventurer and Convergence genre(s) are supposed to be, The Aegeus hair looks too similar to other male hairs I already have. Ended up paying $39.37 for the Elios stuff with the monthly coupon. Ok with me. Didn't need/want the rest. I'm extremely interested in the HD Add on, but as we all say, not for $19.58. Chaps my a** it's not in the pack, but you know, the bottom line.
Sometimes the bundles (due to the base and content) are ones I snatch up immediately, others are not so much. I've passed on the last 12 pro bundles except for Sydney and Christian. Don't know what says about me.
Here's the deal with Elios' price. If you wait two months or so, his Pro-Bundle will go on sale for at least 50% off on top of the base 30% off. That's $47.32, or basically the same price he costs during the introductory promotion AFTER you've added in four of the add-on items. And the odds are good that there'll be an even higher discount within the next three months. I played this same game with Lee 8 and ended up getting that Pro Bundle for just over 30 bucks within a month and a half of the figure's release. So it really comes down to this: do the extra discounts on the add-ons and the items that you can get"free", plus the addition of additional discounts on future products in the next two weeks to owners of Elios 8, offset the higher than normal introductory price?
At the moment, I'm playing a waiting game to see what the next few days hold before I commit either way, as, while some of his characters look really nice, I really don't NEED this base and his Pro Bundle clothes are mostly worthless to me.
I just ran a test shopping cart and can get The Elios 8 Pro bundle for $37.03 by getting four add-ons and using the Exclusive offer: June Earned Bonus from Victoria. I've got 15 items in my cart, the add-ons, the "Elios 8 Wants You To Save!" offer, and a couple other random items (some quite old, actually) I am paying about $81 which is only a couple of dollars off where I started from when I first added the Pro Bundle and an item or two. Niiiice.

Wow. I guess I don't follow along and didn't know about all the price juggling after the original release. I guess if I'd been interested in the bundle content, I'd be p***ed off about it. But as it stands, I only connected with 2 items and the base. I always pull the trigger to soon on things, so next time I'll have to have to pump the brakes!

Yeah Mine is VICTORIA-10 but with 20% apparently now but I never got that banner as still had old one or the Elios one, but in messages have one too, not going to make much difference though as I am utterly broke

Been pulling things in and out of the cart off and on today and really on the fence. I like the character and the bundle LOOKS nice but it’s pretty much fantasy/ Greek warrior. I don’t really ever get inspired to do much in the Greek warrior genre so not sure I would ever use most of it. Couple that with the fact that I skipped over the last two pro bundles due to financial constraints ( had to replace the living room furniture due to its age) so I got no banner message at all this time. At this point I will see what tomorrow brings and probably just get the base figure, HDmorph , and the hair and beard option.
Not sure about that. I don't buy like I used to at all but I got that discount. Made my getting the Elios Pro Bundle quite affordable. :-)
Yep, Put everything in my cart to figure out what it would cost with the extra 20% off and it came to roughly $60. Removed it all and bought a $60 gift certificate with the 20% savings which cost me $48 and then put everything back in my and applied the extra 20% again and it worked. So I was able to get the pro bundle, 4 items and $70 worth of freebies (with my Elios savings) for $48 US using the certificate. Now because I had to pay $CAD it cost me $66 CAD but that is a huge savings for me and well worth it. Especially since most of my renders are mythos based anyway and his items are right up my alley. i put all the stuff in the cart, other than the free items..it came to $81. Pro bundle, 4 adds .. including HD ... I have no coupons or anything.
I cleared my cart. yes, it is a pass on this bundle. Looking back , the Kala 8 bundle would have been a much better pick for me.
I buy a lot here, I guess daz store figures I don't deserve coupons.
I admit, I really dislike the sales tactic of giving some people a better discount than others and hearing about it in the forum. It does make me just want to return my purchase, because it feels unfair.
The difference between 46.29 and 37.03 is the 20% off coupon some people have which has been being talked about on this page.
When we first heard the name, I was hoping he would look a bit more... Greek I guess. Or more southern Mediterranean. But I can appreciate that we are still getting more stocky body types!
Most of his promos look very plastic and fake to me, not a very good impression at all. It does seem like somebody took comments about promos to heart, as he has some basic promos to display his shape mixed with others, and there are more promos in general. So props for that. But the dude looks like he has a pile of wax on.
I like the Jon Snowing looking character, but not enough to go buy Elios just for him. That's too bad. LadyLittleFox has another absolutely fantastic looking hair. Her hair is easily the best thing released today.
Can this hair be fitted to females? I ask because I have a dforce hair that distorts when trying to fit or parent it to other figures. I think this hair would look good for some ladies as well as men (without the beard.)
Very strange, I had the coupon offer for 20% off today when I checked this morning and now that I have my cart ready to check out, the banner says I get 10% off. Did they change it during the day?
Yes. Apparently the thing that differentiates it from the week long offer is that it works on gift cards. So if your week long offer was 10%, you were only supposed to get 10% for the special offer today, as well.
I had the 20% offer (so, $37 for the Pro bundle after adding 4 add-ons). Combined with the $70 in "free" stuff, I could not pass that up.

I suppose I can't complain too much about not getting the multiuse Victoria bonus coupon, as I broke my hand on the memorial day weekend and only spent about a hundred dollars at DAZ for that week. Still, given that I own every single other DAZ G8 base figure, I'd hoped I'd get something better than an extra "30 bucks" worth of free products for Elios. Of course, it just backfires on DAZ in this case as it just makes me more unlikely to buy him until I can get a better deal. (How's them apples, DAZ Marketing department? :))
People should also check their Messages (click on the little blue/white person in the upper right on the shop portion of the site for the menu). There are multiple offers out at the moment, and the banners are overlaying each other so you only see one at a time.
why peoples are getting the $70?? it's party of they previous cupons????, because it's saying just 40 not 70.
Another question going a little offtopic what is the armor he is using in his "young version" i means the one with just arms and leggs in the promotional image from the main promotion??? i means the image in the background when you are on the "starter bundle" part, what is that armor?? at last the arms???
