Probably a dumb organization question but...

Is it possible to organize my content library because finding things is a nightmare and the search thing relies on everything I need using the same word or tag. Back in DS3 I could drag stuff from one folder (In app, not in the documents folder) to another so say I wanted all of the chairs in one place, and all the tables in another I could. Or if I wanted all the furniture in one I could do that. Can I do that in DS4.10/DS4.11?

If not is it possible to do it in the actual folder structure and if so how (without breaking anything)

You can use the Categories for that. It puts a link to whatever you put in there and you can organize things however you like. It's at the bottom of the Content Tab under your other folders.

You can also organize Content Library Folders as you wamt, as long as the root folder is mapped.

I created a tutorial for the way I categorize.  Hope this helps.

You will also want to back up your metadata (aka categories) periodically.  Here's some instructions for that:

    CONTENT LIBRARY (METADATA, aka CATEGORIES)

    1. Right Click on the Content Library Tab

    2. Choose Content DB Maintenance

    3. Check Export User Data.

The file:          UserData1.dsx           will be located in the following folder:

    C:\DAZ3D\Studio\My Library\runtime\Support

    4. You can then copy this file to an external drive, the cloud or wherever you keep your backup data.
