[CHEAPER THAN PLATINUM Club Plus?] so you have to buy something for at least $10.76 to save $1 on a PC+ item, not a new release?

It only makes sense if you were going to buy that new item anyway, or you are going to buy many many PC+ items, I guess.

When I was checking out the PC+ items I was interested in, the deals browser addon history showed me that all the ones I checked were a dollar cheaper (with the discount) back in jan, so I passed as there wasn't that much I hadn't seen a million times already.

Doesn't sound like much of a deal. But that's because we are members. For non-members, it's a great opportunity to grab PC+ products for several dollars less than you'd normally pay.

For example, the Solaris Cabin is $24.95 full-price. Members normally pay $6.99, so a price of $7.99 for a non-member is pretty darn nice, and may well be worth the buy-in of a new release from today's sale. Especially if they purchase several products at these prices.

And sales like this are really geared toward non-members, imo, with the goal of enticing them into becoming members. Although I am surprised the membership isn't also discounted for this sale.

that must be it then ...
I know I've already passed on most of that stuff many times ... maybe would buy some of it during the PC+ sale ...
I dont buy as much as a lot of people here, but I think I'm near saturation.

Er - I think not. As a new official non-member - former platy, I disagree. I am now a new non-member. There is nothing in the new release options I would purchase ($8 more) to buy something I don't need. Not a good deal for non-members either. If you want to entice non-platy members to get sucked into the DAZ buy siphon the teasers/new releases have to be better. Much better.

As a nonmember now I agree, membership discounts usually work better at sucking me in but I am so short on money and the Australian dollar so bad frankly nothing can entice me at the moment, it will be months before I can buy anything again.
