I have tons of clothing converters. but the only one I have for V4 is V4 to G8F. Maybe I don't need to make that leap for everything.. I don't find anything out there to convert V4 to G2F clothing when I search here. Is there something out there? And then something to convert G2F to G8F clothing.
Thx

I would skim through Sickleyield's store, both here and at renderosity. I didn't see anything from V4 to G2F at first pass (using the "ultra template" keywords), but she's very prolific and I may overlooking something.
From what I've read it is possible that a V4- G2 clothing converter could be in the works/ on the to-do list ,RiverSoftArt & SickleYield already have the G2- G8 clothing converters ,but if you want to convert V4 to G2 and then convert those converted items to G8 ,I think that's not a good idea because it increases the deformities or problems .But I would suggest checking the RSSY threads or asking RiverSoftArt about it
I doubt there's much market for V4 to G2F convertors (beyond simple auto-fit). The converters to G3 make sense, as it's still very widely used (particularly given the high cross-over with G8), but G2 is more something people want to convert from, not to.
The clothing (and hair!) converters are a relatively new productline by Riversoft and Sickleyield. They develope(d) these in the order which they expected to be most in demand, so first G3F<->G8F, then G2F -> G8F, V4 -> G8F, G1 -> G8F.
I really can't estimate whether there's much demand for any conversion to G2F though, it's a rather old figure, and I suspect most people did move over to either G3F or G8F by now.
There are still people who use V4, but that's mostly people who exclusively use Poser. And even if there was a script in DS capable of converting G8F clothes to V4 and create a CR2 for it to boot, I don't think they'd want to boot up Daz Studio to do so. They're a stubborn bunch, to put it mildly.
There's no batch converter but you can autofit V4 clothes to G2F if you have this: https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female
yep and the results in my experience are much better than with the converters
I have that and I really like it. :)
Batch converters can bloat your runtime if you have a lot of content.
Hey guys thanks! I bought it and look forward to using it.
I already own this because of wanting to use some older poser stuff with DS in the recent past, and wanted native files:

It works really nice and fast.
