Genesis 8 Bundles making it to 50?

So far, I think there is 42 Genesis 8 Pro Bundles (43 if you count those babies, but someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Do you think Daz will make it to 50 Genesis 8 Pro (and starter) Bundles before going to Genesis 9? It looks like it to me!
Thoughts?

Who knows. I rarely purchase the addon characters, much less the bundles, but I am all for new content
Well since Genesis 9 will not be released in 2019, I’d say there’s a good chance yes
(the “no G9 in 2019” comes from an official statement by DAZ_Steve, in case you’re wondering where I got that)
They could count like Microsoft do though ....
Yeah, even if Daz was to slow down the general 2 week cycle, we still have over half of the year left. They should break 50 easily. If they do release every 2 weeks, there is enough time for 13 more characters. And that is assuming that Genesis 9 launches in January 2020. I think that is unlikely, so they will probably be even more Genesis 8 DO's going into 2020.

I get 42 released, not including the babies, as well, but we already know that Kala will be here by the end of the month due to an accidental product r3elase the other day. So, all told, 44 characters confirmed with the babiers added in.
And yeah, I can see them stretching it out even further, assuming sales hold up. The real question is whether they'll actually try to fill all the niches, since I believe they said a whiile back that there wouldn't be a teenage male in this generation. So... just a pair of older counterparts to Darius and Monique, a set of preteens, and a set of school kids wouyld push us past the 50 marker easily.
The babies seem to have lost the "8" and aren't listed under the "Genesis 8 Core Figures", so I'm not sure if they'll be counted or not.
Not to mention that the Bundle of Joy isn't listed as a Pro Bundle and the babies aren't credited solely to DAZ Originals as the creator, so I think they fall closer to that strange territory to which Star 2.0 belongs.
well simce G9 isn't coming till maybe 2020 and a new one is released roughly every 2 weeks easily pass that we may even get some unique ones too like Centaur 7 and there may even still be a chance of a creature creator 8, Daz Horse 8 or 3 depending how they decide to number it same as Cat 8 and Dragon 8
There are some niches that need to be filled. You have adult Asian characters, old Asian characters, all types of "white" characters, an Asian Indian character with another on the way (finally), fantasy and sci-fi characters, and POC characters (or "black" if you prefer). So now we need old POC characters, Latinx characters, maybe Gianni or Hiro, Pacific Islanders...am I missing any?
Native Americans :) And preferrably those that LOOK like Native Americans - not bronze-toned white people. I don't feel that Latinos will cover this genre either - for instance, there is a difference between the features of Native Americans from South America and North America with a little overlap.

Some of the "official Daz 8" characters have their creators listed though. Sakura 8 has Rarestone listed, Sanjay 8 has Laticis Imagery and Raiya listed.
RIght, but all of those ARE officially identified as being "8"s and have official Pro Bundles, neither of which is true of the Babies. The original question was whether the babies counted in a list of official Genesis 8 bases, and while some of the others may vary in one aspect from the typical DAZ "norm", the Babies don't seem to match in any respect.

I just want a new cat and big cats. Or even a morpheable 4 legged (or more!) fantasy creature. Humans I can morph myself...
