Manual Download Path of Daz Studio 4.10

If I decide to manually download 4.10, Where precisely do I place it?

You are downloading the isntaller, so in your standard downloads folder. Then run the isntaller and place it where you like, though it will give you a default path.

What you download is an installer you then have to run to install the program, so you can put the downloaded file wherever you want.

You don't even need to keep the installer once DS  is installed, though as only the latest version of DS is available at a given time I personally keep a backup of installers so I can go back to a previous version if I have a problem with the new one.

    Thank you both!

...Keeping a backup, that reminds me of when I upgraded to a newer version that gave me all kinds of problems that the older version didn't.

Do you think I should place it in C:Program files?

    ...Or whatever it offers me?

If you mean the installer, I wouldn't recommend putting it in Program Files, it's where actual programs get installed.

Now that I think of it, Maybe i should place it in my F: drive, since that Drive is the 2 Tb drive that I keep all my saved duff/Daz files in.
