Finger Prints, Toe Prints

I love daz's models and textures, they're extremely realistic but one thing I've noticed was they dont have prints. I was trying to do a close up animation render but it doesn't look good enough without them. After hours on the internet searching for a solution that doesnt require me going frame by frame adding them I found one person that has made a Bump map for it. Problem is, it looks like he's not selling them. So my question is does anyone know of a model with really realistic hand textures like this one?

since fingerprints are used by the government and law agencies I can see a problem with redistributing such a map

that said if you can digitize your own it would be a pretty awesome way of copyrighting your work

would be case of photographing and blending in an image editor, something like shadermap may help making normals, no easy way to do it just lots of fiddly photo manipulation or if you own Zbrush Zprojection

placing your hand over the texture on your monitor and photographing it might be one way to start

    Indeed the result is beautiful!

But, as Wendy said, I think there could be legal reasons behind this.

Maybe someone could create a "fingerprint generator"?
But what if the randomized result corresponds to the fingerprints of an actual person?

A fingerprint generator sounds cool, but randomization sounds like overkill. You could literally use the same fingerprint map for every image you create, and no human would detect the reuse of pattern.

As for acquiring the bump/normal map, it doesn't seem too difficult:

This topic has been of interest to me for some time as well.  While this filter generates just the fingertips, I imagine there could be a way to generate a whole hand pattern. Same for the foot.
And while *some* differentiation would be appreciated, I don't think it would matter if ALL Genesis figures end up having the same prints unless Vicki 8 gets up to no good and gets EVERY Genesis character convicted! - HA HA!

Filter Forge is a great tool for 3D textures as it can generate your bump, normal and diffuse maps for you.
