How to zoom in Pegasus modeler

lululee1lululee1 Posts: 343

Hi,

  I purchased Pegasus modeler.

I have tried to get it to zoom in and out.

All it does is zoom a small amount then quickly moves to the back.

Very frustrating.

The software is useless if one can't get a close zoom in on what one is modeling.

Any help is appreciated.

Are you zooming with the middle mouse button? It seems to work very well for me, how big is your model?

    Hi,

Yes I am zooming with the middle mouse button.

The attached images show it is flipping to the back toatlly on it's own.

    Very difficult to work with.

Any help is appreciated as I really want to be able to work in this software.

I think I have it and I also want to learn how to use it too.

I think it is a really good product especially for making clothing.

I have ZBrush which is where I do most of my work but I'd like to be able to touch up the geometry in Pegasus.

Hopefully, I will get it working properly.

It seems by zooming ,then getting closer very carefully with the pan and move on the mouse it is getting better.

I've attached an image of my closeup progress using the other mosue buttons along with the zoom.

Can Pegasus 4 be installed via DIM or does it have to be done manually?  I got the upgrade version from Pegsus 3.

    I installed mine manually.

I think it says on the product page it needs to be installed manually.

For smooth zoom, keep Alt + right mouse button pressed, then move mouse to left/right.

It's in the Help file actually, at page 29.
