I can use the link to the item, but no icon showed a few moments ago on the sale page.

  • AtiAti Posts: 9,182

The main shop itself is not showing the product image either.

  • frankrblowfrankrblow Posts: 2,052

The images on the product page have changed since it first showed up in the store. A few minutes after Daz midnight, the product page main image was missing, so the link is broken between the product image and the store pages.

Is anyone seeing the Real Drops cleared up?

It's still not showing up for me on the sales page nor the front page of the store.

  • Cris PalominoCris Palomino Posts: 12,450

Ok, since it seems to be image related, it may not be able to be fixed till morning. https://www.daz3d.com/real-drops-female-edition is also in the newsletter for now.

The Real Drops Female Edition also doesn't have the 30% off that the other new releases have.  If placed in the cart with another new release item, the extra 20% off is applied to it, but not the original 30% off that should be there.

https://www.daz3d.com/introducing-tika-8 is up, and I have to say I could not find a single thing about this offer that tempts me, even with the extra discount for the purple banner.

I mean it's just another female anime character, and with a bad sunburn at that (ie: too-orange texture), and all the clothes are pretty well clones of hundreds of others in the store.

This is an easy pass for me, even more so than the super ugly babies that hit the store a few days ago.

To each their own, personally I love the character and some of her add-ons

Once again the wording on the sale page seems weird: in the “get x$ of these for free” there’s a note saying “‡ If total amount of qualifing items is greater than the discounted amount, the discount will not be applied.”

I assume it’s supposed to mean the usual “if you have more than x$ of these in the cart you’ll get x$ off so items won’t appear free”?

Correct. Since it's a set amount. So once the number of products totals more than the amount you're to receive, products go from free to the excess being divided among them. It's not an easy thing to put in a short amount of words, imo.

  • James_HJames_H Posts: 1,091

I don't see how that wording means what you say, though what you say may well be right.

I agree, written like that it seems like the offer doesn’t work at all if you have more than x$ of qualifying items in the cart.

But on all bundle releases with a similar offer there’s been a variation of the “bad wording which is supposed to mean what I wrote”, hence why I “translated” that way. Honestly it wouldn’t be that difficult to write it clearly...

How about "Buy the Tika 8 Pro Bundle and 4 or more of her Add-Ons: Up to $20 off these select Items"?

I think the wording becomes difficult by trying to include the word Free.

However, "If total amount of qualifing items is greater than the discounted amount, the discount will not be applied.” is simply not true. If it were, items with a price of more than the offer, would not discount at all. If the wording said, up to $X off, the offer wouldn't need the disclaimer. People would expect to put $Y of items in their cart from that category, and see the cart total increase by $Y - $X. (i.e., product(s) totalling $45 would increase the Grand Total by $25, ($45-$20).

And it would save on the confusion, too.

I agree, it would be much simpler. But if they insist on using the word “free” they could simply word the note the way I did it or use something similar

Also, it isn't clear at the top of the page that buying the pro bundle and 4+ addons entitles you to $20 off each of the featured "Catalogs". There are five, so that's a total of up to $100 off select product.

Here's the break down. Buy the Pro bundle and

    • Two Addons, get:
      • Up to $10 off select People & Wearables
      • Up to $10 off select Places & Things
      • Up to $10 off select Animations & Poses
    • Three Addons, get:
      • Up to $15 off select People & Wearables
      • Up to $15 off select Places & Things
      • Up to $15 off select Animations & Poses
      • Up to $10 off select Animals & Creatures
    • Four or more Addons, get:
      • Up to $20 off select People & Wearables
      • Up to $20 off select Places & Things
      • Up to $20 off select Animations & Poses
      • Up to $20 off select Animals & Creatures
      • Up to $20 off select Resources and Add-Ons

I've set up a cart with the pro bundle, which isn't very interesting. I see to get $20 on each category. Still rather (for me) ho hum.

Sorry Mods, I put this in the wrong thread originally!

Jyune for Tika 8 isn't discounting when put into the cart as part of the 4 add ons discount. The other DO figures do.

  • WonderlandWonderland Posts: 7,133

Nothing seems to be working. The Daz originals are losing their PC discount in cart, the extra 30% off doesn’t seem to be working... I put one shader in, it isn’t free at all...

Yeah, I can confirm - the cart definitely jumped up in price and looks like the Tika 8 Pro Bundle lost it's Purple Banner Discount.

Tika bundle: $66.13 - 30%= $46.29-20% (banner) = $37.03 Not $52.90 which it now is in my cart. Looks like the other issues were fixed though.

Yep. I started a cart and was selecting the freebies when I jad to leave for a doctors appointment. When I got back the price of the pro bundle with 4 addons had jumped from $37 to $53. Basically it looks like the pro bundle lost its extra discount for having 4 addons.

I hope a nice mod can report this and get it fixed. Otherwise, I'm just going to dump my my cart.
