Syph and Bodysuit

Now this looks interesting: https://www.daz3d.com/syph-and-bodysuit-for-genesis-8-female

It says the bodysuit works with geometry shell, so can it be used to show only parts of the suit, like a cyborg arm? Does that look smooth or cut off.

Also would it work on genesis 3?

    There is a 'Sylph Mech Skin' that fits OVER the G8 character, so any clothing needs to be adjusted to fit. The Mech Skin itself seems to be a geograft, with similar material zones to G8.

    Here's a quick render with the arm surface opacity set to zero, so you can see the 'human' skin underneath.

    EDIT: When I tried to transfer the textures from the Mech Skin to G8F's arms, her arms mostly disappeared. Even so, I think having the Mech as a geograft offers more opportunity to modify your character than just texturing the G8 skin would.

    Yeah, today's offerings are a huge boon for Sci-Fi'ers.

    (a little bit of me wishes THIS was what it was about - during March Madness)

    But with the gift card from yesterday, I must admit, this is a great day to make purchases.

    I will assume you're thinking of how she looked in the "Last Order" series.  But even then her frame cyborg frame suggested a "ropey" musculature rather than a hulking physique.  In the original manga, she was almost a "twee" lil' thing, like a woodland elf.

    @Redfern  I admit I don't really know anything about the charakter or the story behind it, just judged from the images floating about her which looked more like that last rander from dragonfly :D

    So it looks like the Bodysuit is just using a detailed texture and not and built in modeled detail, is this correct?  Which outfit is shown in the first picture which I have included below?

    It’s in effect a texture and morph, her body will take that shape and the texture is offset on a geoshell so it is modelled but on her mesh with HD morphs

    I don’t have this one BTW but there are many similar things

    Yes, the bodysuit is a material you apply to the G8 female (or male) figure. As to the outfit in the promo, I think it is part of this: https://www.daz3d.com/autumn-soldier-for-genesis-8-female-s possibly with this expansion https://www.daz3d.com/autumn-soldier-texture-expansion-pack

    Yeah, the robotic suit seems to just be a texture painted over the character's otherwise smooth skin. No physical jointed shapes or anything like that.

    Very nice!

    I know there are copyright issues, but I would like to see versions with the Berserker, Motorball (in the Manga, the Berserker was not used for Motorball, it would not allow the feet to be changed out, and was not regulation) and Imaginos bodies.
