Watch your wishlist product prices

I have had Toon Generations Mega-Bundle on my wishlist for awhile.  I thought I would pick it up this weekend.  For the last year, it's base price has been $74.96.  The new base price is $99.95.  Needless to say, I won't be picking it up this weekend.

    I purchased the Mega Bundle in December, 2015. Although I did not pay full price, the full price was $99.95.

    The $74.96 price sounds like a discounted price to me, regardless, because of the 96¢. Prices at Daz are something.95 for DO and PA products and something.99 for PC+ products, unless they discounted.

    According to it's price history it's been that way since august, I didn't go back further. It's on sale now for $59.97, cheaper if you get another on sale items.

    Thanks Adair.  I have been watching it with Ati's add-on; but appreciate the information you shared.

     

    For the last year, it shows at the $74.96, with dips during periodic sales.  It has been down in the $30s during March; but shows as low as 23.99 last September.

    Because I own the product, it normally doesn't show for me when I visit the PA's store, so I didn't notice any recent pricing or discounts. The $74.96 price is 25% off the full price, so perhaps the vendor has had it on special all this time. The figures from this bundle are unique to the product, and there have been two newer bundles released since: Toon Generations 2 for G3 and more recently Toon Generations for G8.

    It makes sense to me, though, that when the entire back catalog of a PA is discounted for an event like March Madness, the event discount replaces any other discounts, except for DO and PC+ products. But I can understand the disappointment, when you thought you would get 40%-50% off the $74.96 price.
