The Girl has been around since the Generation 3 days (V3, Aiko 3, Mike 3, etc). However, this year was the first year that she looked a lot different than the original.
Just for the record, I wasn't saying that all of those characters started in Generation 6 (that would be obviously false!), just that to my recollection, I can't remember some of them having versions from Generation 5 or earlier.
(That said, as someone who only got into this relatively recently, I've got only a moderate amount of pre-Gen 7 content - a few of the Gen 6 females, and some Gen 4 stuff I've picked up out of the freebies bin and the occasional ultra-mega-hyper sales - so it's not exactly my forte).
I've been looking into this, and I think you're asking the wrong question.
Ophelia 7's HD add-on isn't itself actually all that muscular. The muscles are almost all in Ophelia's SD morph, as can be seen if you load just the HD details onto a base Genesis 3 figure.
For comparison, I've done that, rendering the default G3F with Ophelia 7's HD details (and the default G8F materials, so both figures match material-wise), and the default G8F with the "Bodybuilder details" from the standard Daz Morph pack dialed to 200%, and Gia 8's HD details (in order to give both models HD detail from a "muscular" figure and thus largely remove the HD element from the equation).
Doing so, we can see that very little of Ophelia 7's muscle is in her HD add-on, but most of the muscle on the Genesis 8 figure just comes from dialling in a standard morph:

EDIT: Okay, there was actually a new (if repetitive) post in this thread before I put this here. I assume it got moderated, but I'm going to leave this, as I think it is actually a relevant addition to the thread.
My 4 GB graphics card can't handle Lvl 5 SubD, I'm a monkey who isn't that good at Daz, it's something I threw together in five minutes, and it's using the base G8F materials:
I think the results you want are much more within reach than you're claiming.

Can you render the knees, legs, feet, arms, stomach, back and neck area too? Then share your settings?
Does Genesis 8 female have a default HD addon that you used or something? Which HD addon did you use?
It's not very practical for me to do multiple renders, as with this level of geometry, my mediocre graphics card drops back to CPU on anything but the first render after loading, so it means I have to keep restarting Daz and waiting for everything to load back into RAM off a not particularly fast hard disk. (Also, I'm now currently messing around in Blender for the sake of proving it's possible to convert G3 HD morphs - the few I have, anyway - to G8 displacement maps, and trying to juggle heavy Blender files at the same time as Daz on my hardware just isn't possible).
There's no real secret to that image other than that morphs (including HD morphs) can have their limits turned off and be pushed beyond 100% - if a slightly muscular morph is too subtle, it can become a more muscular morph if it's set to 200%. I started with Gia 8's HD morph, as the most muscular of the core characters, and an SD muscle definition morph, then span dials past their normal limits until I was happy with the result.
Coming back on that second point, for those with slightly more advanced 3D modelling knowledge, this is a G8F with Ophelia's HD (body) details (converted to a G8F compatible displacement map using Blender) and Ophelia 7's materials, because why not.
The results aren't absolutely perfect, given that the HD details are designed to work with Ophelia's SD morph (and I haven't converted that... yet. The SD morph here is just the G8F "Bodybuilder Details" dialled up high), and displacement maps are a slightly less sophisticated technology, but it does show that it is possible to transfer sub-polygon detail between Genesis 3 and 8 if necessary.
Unfortunately, it's still impractical for me to render very many images, but it should give a general idea of the result.
If that's the look you're going for you don't even really have to have HD.
Here's Gia 8 (non-HD) with Bump setting increased to 2.07 and Normal setting increased to 2.55 and "Body Tone" and "Body Builder Details" from the Genesis 8 Female body morph set added:

You know how to make good promo renders, thank you for this.
If she looks good without an HD addon, just imagine how much better she'd look with the HD addon that was properly made.
If by 'win' you mean convincing the OP that what he wants is already possible, perhaps not, but the thread inspired me to take Gia 8 out for a spin and play with muscles and settings, and use some stuff that was sitting on my hd gathering dust. So that might count as a win *g*
Gia 8 has some really nice detailing in her textures, I recommend her if you're wanting a strong female type.
Could you do more renders of Gia 8? Like her legs, particularly the knees, then another one of her feet up close? Then another render of the back of her legs? Then maybe another render of her lower and upper back?
I wish every G8F hd addon could be rendered the way you did it because I can actually see the detail.
Don't post to bump threads. I am leaving this one as a courtesy to those who replied.
I'm just requesting a product I've been needing for a few years now. If someone sees this post and has an idea or solution, they can respond.
I check in every 3-4 months to see if Ophelia 8 or Rune 8 HD has been released yet, but nothing. I wish we could have Lydia 8, but we get nothing but average looking people you'd find at walmart.
Guess You'll have better luck using G3F versions, then convert them using a G3F to G8F character converter... I did this with my G3 characters, it's working well, and I got all morphs and textures working seamlessly, plus all the G8 specific morphs available.

Have you tried upgrading Ophelia7-HD to Genesis 8?
Also, Gia 8-HD or Monique 8-HD with these

and the Boy Girl morphs by Mar3d from that other site provide plenty of muscle shapes.

Matt_castle, thanks for those renders!
Genesis 7 female has TWO muscular HD addons, while Genesis 8 female has none.

There's no Genesis 8 female hd addon that is similar to the above muscular detail.
What the heck, dude? Seriously this is like the 4th time you've rehashed this. lol

I'm bumping this thread because for years I've been needing a Genesis 8 HD addon compareable to Rune 7 or Ophelia 7.
I check in every 3 or 4 months. Hopefully that's okay.
I really really need an HD addon that looks like the following but for Genesis 8 female, thanks:

I'll see you all in 3-4 months if it's not released yet, just to kindly ask for it again. thanks
