Product page and file list only show the brows.

  • Yeah, I was wondering where the Mohawk came from as well.

I'm pretty sure both the beard and mohawk (some of the eyebrows too) come from this guy:

he dosen't come with those whiskers in the main promo or those real bushy eyebrows, he does have fibre brows but not like those two colours black and sorta grey. He does have some painted whishers of sorts you gotta select in the materials Ogrec Face for them to appear if you just have Ogrec All Maps you wont see that and default is that, a Subdernal material not sure what that is but thumbnail is his head maybe defines chin more, 2 eyelash colours, 2 teeth colours white and stained and are normal shaped, 10 eye colours, and a green skin. Shaping is just full Ogrec turn off standard G8M, nipples on off and navel on of.

where do the clothes come from? the earing, etc? There is no list at all of anything. poorly described product overall. i do like the look of the skin texture though and was thinking of buying it.

Fortunately, they go on sale pretty often...

  • Bought him.... haven't had a chance to load him up yet. But, I've been wanting this sort of character... could be an ogre or just a big guy.

Since there's a thread on this anyway, just wanted to confirm, no anatomical element maps, correct? It looks like there aren't from the product list (though a few image file names had names I didn't recognize), but just wanted to be sure.

He looks like Shrek so I imagine giving him elements might be an issue.

I guess I'd have to compare them later, I didn't think he liked that much like that. But even if that were the case, that would be a question of whether or not it could be sold, not whether one part or another can be included.

But also, is that confirmation that no he does not include them? Or just general commentary?

They aren’t listed as included so I suspect that you are right they are not.

Stopped this wayyyy early, but here is Ogrec with Dolb hair and tattoos.
[edited] - I found the separate Dolb hairs to install on other figures. Disregard previous rant about transfering the hair and fitting to Ogrec. Sheesh! I must be sleepy.

Also, "Ogrec"?  I pronounce it "Ogre C" - how is everyone else saying it, even if only in their own heads?

I haven't pulled him up yet on my system, so I'm not sure if he does or not. But over on the site that ends in otica, there is a male anatomical elements prop that the name ends in tator. That one has a script that does a good job of aplying the main body materials to the anatomical prop automatically, and is a much more versatile prop in it's own right. You might want to look at it

no anatomical elements. Tried loading on him the G8M anatomy then adding his skin which sometimes works on some but it remained a silver surfer. Screenshot of his file contents last two on bottom are character and second teeth which are just a stained dirty colour

  • This guy has been out for a while now, but I just bought him in the holiday sale.  So I was surprised when I did a test render on the base skin texture that the leg and torso seams don't match up.  Looks like really bad tan lines.  If the files were updated wouldn't the new files be the ones I just purchased?

  • Image removed - please shift the camera angle round a little so that the figure's crotch is not visible.

Yes, a fresh download would have any updates. Was this the character preset or applying the materials to a pre-loaded figure? Do you get the same if you load/create the character using the other method?
