I think the easiest way to do it is to make two modell sharing the same pose and you play with visibility and scale. Check the cyborg's leg it's going through the pants. You still might need X-morphs for the head.

Other idea would depend on the modell and the set up, but that would be too technical for a render like this, changing part of the skins, opacity etc... So based on the cyborg's leg I would say two modell are supperimposed on each other.

ps: you proubably wouldn't need X-morphs for the head and shoulder if you put an opacity mask over the skin.

Thanks, I have some ideas on how to make a character look like that but I wonder if there is preset included in the product, which would make thing way quicker ;)

    quote from the description:

    "Details

Here it is, the most advanced robotic rig based on the Genesis 8 Female skeleton. Now you can use your Genesis 8 Female poses and some Gen8 items. Unlike past Cyborgs for Daz Studio, the Cyber Gen 8 will be the base rig for new and future characters. This means that if you want to make your own robot without worrying about rigging and such, you can kit-bash your own creation.

With this purchase, you will get the Cyborg Genesis 8 Female base rig plus the first characters, Silo, T-Model, IR, and Nanny in five different materials."

that should answer the pose question

She can take most Gen 8 female poses. With combining it with Genesis, don't fit or parent, just use the same pose on both. Unfortunately, a preset is out of the question as the cyborg has a lot more different bones. -Dz

Pity, but I understand, thanks for the feedback though!

We were lucky enough to get this complex rigging to match. But hey, she made it here in all her glory.

Since Dz isn't saying, I'm going to guess the posed human is mostly "over" the machine, but got hit in the face with a deformer to push some of the head under the machine. I've used the same technique with generations going back to V4.

That and the clothing hides the "tearing" areas so you can simply de-opaque the arm and leg. Looks like more deformer work on the chest.

Now, who or what is "Endo". The Doomsday texture ad copy mentions Endo over and over again.

"Endo" as in endoskeleton....  The Terminator san the "Arnold Schwarzenegger"and just the bare metal robot is an example of an endoskeleton for example.

  • "Endo" Refers to the Cyborg base skeleton - the figure without the breast/body plates.

The human body had limbs and parts turned off or scaled down and hidden. The head had a lot of morphs built in to just suck half the face in. Of all the promos I had to do, the Genesis plus Cyborg mix was the one I enjoyed doing.

Hmm, can I morph the breasts to match on the cyborg?

Yes, it will be a combination of several morphs.

I kind of bought that figure, and the male figure at the same time based on that combo picture as well.  I thought maybe the parts are geo-graft and just replaced the human parts, but sadly they are not.  I had to fit the cyborg to the gen8 and then hide body parts or hide surfaces of the gen8.  and resize or rotate or translate.

Also, the male version is awesome in the fact that all the parts are individual and can be loaded by themselves.  The female version is not like that.  it is all or nothing.  I kind of hope that will get updated.  they adore awesome figures, they are by DZ FIre so that i a no brainer, but don't think you are going to make a human/cyborg real quick.

When the male was released, I was getting some complaints there were too many parts to add on for the characters even though I made the characters pre-loaded. So, for the female, it was decided to just do the characters and if needed, the parts not needed could be deleated. I'll see if I can come up with a quick workaround as all the props are in your data folder.

Can't seem to find any shaping morphs?

Thanks for the reply DzFire, so here's my follow up, are you saying I can inject the morphs on the breasts? If so, Can I inject a head onto the head as well? I hope you can answer before the sale ends ;)

I personally think that would be great if you could.  I rather add parts I need than to delete all the ones I don't.  Thank you for lookiing into it.

Sorry, morphs can't be used from Genesis 8 to the Cyborg. Two different models, hard surface and soft, and rigging bones are different. Now, I know if I say can't, someone will prove me wrong like the Model 4 Cyborgs :D

Had I known this, I would not have bought it in the first place.

Thats how i did it. (stil working oin the scene though). I placed two models at 0 then used same pose and made the parts i didnt need invisible with the eye icon in your scene tab.
