Weapon and Props Commission?

Hello,

I'm just going to make a short, simple request of a commision for a model of a Na'vi style bow and other Avatar-related props I'd like to use in DAZ.

First, I hope it's okay to request such items, but of course they cannot be found for sale anywhere, and I cannot make them, so I'm hoping for some help :) Thank you!

    It's always okay to ask for stuff.

    It doesn't look exactly like the Na'vi bow, but I get the same vibe from it.
    Unfortunately, sometimes you need to improvise.

    The bow is nice and I might use it, but still wanting a Na'vi bow, among other Avatar props. Thank you though! Still looking for commission interest :)

    The problem is, even if James Cameron (or whoever controls the rights) is happy with non-commercial fan-art, paying for someone to make a model for you isn't non-commercial fan-art and so puts the maker in a slightly perilous position. If you are lucky maybe someone will make the items as freebies.

    That's what I was wondering about. But even a lot of the stuff is borderline copyrighted on the DAZ website itself--I mean, you can tell exactly what was replicated, then put under a different name ~_~ I'm surprised they're sold.

    Do you have a login at ShareCG? Search for Avatar under their Poser freestuff.

    I have grabbed everything I can off of there. :) Good for what I can get, but some of the props advertised in the packs aren't even there :/ I even double-checked this morning.
    Anyway I am looking for things like--the bows, daggers, the waist armor the men wear, a Na'vi item rack, the things they sleep in... Yea. And jewelry. :)
